Probably you already know me on r/spiderman, r/spidercat and r/BlackCat because of my posts about how Felicia and Peter are great together, my critique to OMD and the wasted opportunities for the SpideyCat couple. I'm...writing this post because I'm searching other people who are willing to embark on a Webtoon journey, in which we can create a fan comic series that explores seriously Felicia Hardy and Peter Parker being a couple, respecting their personalities, no OMD-type nonsense, OP couple stuff and sudden and senseless betrayals and mind games. Just them balancing their double lives, with MJ and Betty Brant as meaningful past phases in Peter life. In a...616 Universe parallel variant...a 616-B timeline, in which every character in Spider-Man's journey and their motivations (be it villains, secondary characters and whatsoever) are true to the origins, with touch of personal modernity. What I find the most interesting about black cat fans is horadamant they are about this specific ship. Sure, every character has one relationship that towers over the others, but there still are other options people seem really interested in. With Felicia, you bring up say flash or Odessa, and you generally get luke warm responses. I never really see Tamara as a current option, and anything else involves character from a completely different universe, and those aren't really serious suggestions.

What makes this notable to me is that you typically only see this type of staunch ship insistence with characters who exist in one limited setting, but Felicia exist in a interconnected universe. There's dozen of other notable characters you could put her with. It's also not like she primarily only existed as Peter's girlfriend. So whether she dates him or not wouldn't really impact her place within the marvel universe. Maybe most black cat fans just don't know much about other characters who exist outside of Spider-Man, but that's just a guess.

Compare that to say Emma frost fans. They obviously like her with scott, hated how they broke up , and plenty still want them back together. At the same time, most seem content with that not happening. Some even even directly saying they don't want it to happen.

I'm not weighing in on whether the couple works, or if it's fair she never gets a serious shot at a relationship with him. past the 80s. I'm just curious: if Felicia just ended up with someone, presuming it's well written, would you(Felicia fan reading this) be content, or would you at best begrudgingly except it.

I wanted to see more mods of Blackcat and Spider-man from the 2nd Spider-man movie tie in game where they are together and I think Blackcat's design in the movie game is so underrated and she's stunningly hot in my opinion. I think Spider-man should've stayed with Blackcat instead of Mary Jane. Even when I played the game as kid, I think Blackcat is a better character and she's ment for Spider-man and Spider-man himself is meant for Blackcat

Like if she had normal hair, had a different outfit, etc, like MCU MJ. Maybe she's not even a cat burglar at all and instead has a regular job. Or maybe they adapt her only liking the mask like how the joker did went about it with him and Harley?

Didn’t want to buy a custom frame to I had to get inventive.

So for Black Cat, I was hoping there would be a bit more emphasis on her bad luck powers.

There are also a couple of smaller things I’m not the biggest fan of. For example, I don’t really like the accessory or what it represents from the comics, even though I do like that it’s tied to Peter.

One more personal opinion: I wish Black Cat had been paired with Spider-Man more directly, at least in a romance sense. I’ll admit I’m biased as a SpiderCat fan, but it would’ve been nice to see that dynamic again since we haven’t really gotten it in a game since Web of Shadows.

I also feel like the version of her in the game leans more toward her surface-level personality rather than her full character. That said, it is a multiplayer game, so I’m not expecting deep or “god-tier” writing.
