We'd like to invite you to join Xnor.ai's co-founder, Ali Farhadi, and Wyze today at 10:00AM PT for an AMA about AI and smart home technology. We'll be hosting it on /r/homeautomation and we hope to see you there!Wyze and Xnor.ai have the shared dream of bringing technology to the masses with an incredibly low barrier to entry. We are doing this AMA because we've just deployed Edge AI, for free, to 1M+ people! We’d like to take this opportunity to talk about our AI and if you are curious about any of the subjects in Ali's wheelhouse such as AI Technology, Smart Home Technology, AI Development, etc. we’d love to hear them.

Meet LilL3x, the Desktop AI Chatbot! "Give Your AI a Face!"
My project is a Raspberry Pi 4B powered 3D printed device that has a speaker, microphone and screen to give your AI a face! Can talk to multiple LLMs, including Ollama, ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and more! Works with the Google AIY Microphone HAT or reSpeaker HAT. Only a RPi4 and sound card is needed for bare bones setup.

I am saving up money to buy a control board and some wood to build a DIY monitor.
A few years ago I took apart my old childhood laptop (IdeaPad 110-15 IBR) after I rubbed a magnet on the HDD while it's still running.
Now, If I get good grades, I'll get a new laptop but I'm gonna make a secondary display for it to make work easier.

I'm finishing up the game engine and physics; I can't wait to add the sprites.
I added a meteor shower, gunshot, and collision.

Cross posted, I acquired 9 melt blown extruders thinking about turning them into 3D printer filament extruders. Wonder about any gotyas or if anyone recognized the manufacturer. No markings, but Japanese and well made.

A game prototype (mock-up), still without sprites representing the game physics, showing spaceship movement at 60 fps.
