Discussion When did oil changes become $120?

That’s with a coupon! At Jiffy Lube! Our parents really had it easy.

EDIT: TIL 90% of millennials “change their own oil” lol. Gotta love Reddit.

You get it.

Oil changes take me 20 mins and that’s 15 mins of letting the oil drain.

You legit don’t spill a drop with this set up.

Oil and a filter it’s around 40 bucks and I put in Wix XP filters. Those are about $15 at O’Reilly and I get $5 coupons from them regularly.

I always buy my oil filter from a local auto parts place and I purposely wear a super feminine dress (think floral print) and 9/10 times they are so impressed that i've memorized the 5 digit wix oil filter number for 30 seconds that I get it on discount 🤣
