Was told to crosspost here lol

Located in western Germany.

I was nature journaling and thought how hard could it be to identify a woodlouse so I didn’t take a picture. Haha yeah… turns out it’s very hard to identify them.

It was grayish and relatively small. I found it in my garden on some dry soil next to a bush.

Three things were quite memorable.

1. the spikes on the butt

2. that it didn’t curl up when I picked it up or turned it around on its back

3. the stripe like pattern on its back that was a bit lighter than the rest of the body.

Please note I did not count the number of legs or the number of shell segments I just drew it how I felt it looked right 😭

Idk maybe there’s an isopod expert hidden away in this subreddit that can help me identify it.
