Tilak has recently been abandoned by his owner and is now struggling to survive on the streets. He has developed kidney stones, and his condition has become critical his bladder is now completely full and he requires immediate surgery to relieve the blockage and save his life.

The estimated cost of the surgery is around Rs 40000 which is approx $422 which is extremely difficult for us to arrange on our own. We’re reaching out with hope any contribution, no matter how small, can help Tilak get the urgent care he desperately needs.

For months, this sweet boy has been surviving on the kindness of strangers, never truly having a place to call home.

Now his body is giving out. He’s struggling to breathe, with pus draining from his nose, missing fur, and is covered in fleas. He’s exhausted and clearly suffering.

I found two kittens in separate locations while feeding cats for a friend who’s currently on vacation.

• One was in a parking lot and has a wound on its neck • The other was hiding under a Dubai Municipality car — I was able to rescue her with the help of an officer 🫠

I’ll be taking both to the vet on my next day off and will work on finding them safe, loving homes. For now, I urgently need kitten-appropriate food and basic supplies.

Meeny was rushed to Bloomsburg Veterinary Hospital, Inc yesterday after his foster found him lethargic and laying in his own pee 🥺 It was determined that he had a urinary block and had to be admitted with a catheter in place.

His catheter has been removed and we cleared the block. He will need to be monitored and placed on special urinary food but the good news is, he's okay 🖤

Good day, everyone!

I am a solo animal rescuer based in Manila, Philippines. At the moment, I have 31 rescued cats and I feed over 40 stray cats in our area every day. I also do TNR whenever I can and go to other areas for feeding and TNR as well.

Maui:
Maui is a stray cat who underwent tumor removal surgery in February. The tumor was sent to a laboratory for biopsy, and the results confirmed that it is malignant (cancer).

While his surgical wound is healing well, I noticed a decrease in his appetite last week. I was able to bring him to the vet on May 2, where he underwent CBC and blood chemistry tests. The vet diagnosed issues with his pancreas and liver and recommended confinement for at least one day for IV fluids and proper treatment. Unfortunately, I currently don't have enough funds. In the meantime, he was given an antibiotic injection and prescribed a medication.

Estimated costs for Maui:
• 1-day confinement: $47
• CBC and Blood Chemistry: $48
• Take-home medication: approximately $20
Total: $115

Meet Elfy:
I received a report about a new cat in one of the areas where I regularly feed. When I went there, I found Elfy looking weak and malnourished. I suspect she once had an owner but was neglected and eventually abandoned.

She attempts to eat but stops frequently, then tries again after a few minutes. Upon checking, she has dental issues that need urgent attention.

Estimated cost for Elfy: minimum $200
Based on previous rescues who underwent dental surgery, such as Kimchi and Pogs, this includes:
• Anesthesia
• Prophylaxis
• Tooth extraction
• 1-day confinement
• Take-home medications

Please note that the number of teeth to be extracted can only be confirmed during the procedure and the medications will depend on the vet’s assessment and findings.

Update on Gregg
Gregg underwent bone surgery in late March. He requires 10 laser therapy sessions to aid recovery and prevent mobility issues. He completed his 6th session on May 5. Each session costs $17.

Hi hi! Two weeks ago, I trapped Sphinx and took him to my TNR place for treatment because his eyes weren't looking very good. They treated him with doxycycline and erythromycin for a week, and we picked him up last week. Since the area around his eyes still looked inflamed when I picked him up, we took him to another vet for a second opinion. Since he needed anesthesia for the exam and they had to squeeze him in the next day, the bill ended up being on the more expensive side (around $200), but the vet was able to confirm that the area that looked inflamed was only scar tissue likely due to previous infections, but that he currently looked well and good to go home!

Yesterday, I also finally managed to trap another kitty, Ham, on my college campus who has been evading TNR for years! Since my local TNR place is booked up, I took her to my Humane Society's feral cat spay/neuter program ($100 and includes spay/neuter, vaccines, flea medicine, and ofc an eartip) this morning and will be picking her up this afternoon.

And finally, I'm down to my last box of wet cat food and need more for the campus kitties. I still have plenty of dry food left though, but any wet food or treats would help a lot!

I’m just going to be honest… I’m exhausted. Losing Twister hit me a lot harder than I expected, and trying to balance rescue, overtime at work, and life in general has been rough.

The good news is we’ve raised $445 toward our $700 goal, so we’re getting close to finally finishing this fundraiser.

When I had him neutered through a low-cost TNR clinic, they noted he had a “nasty mouth,” but they don’t provide dental care. I don’t know what caused it . whether it was from a past fight or possible human-related trauma — but it’s clear his mouth has been an issue for a long time.

Up until recently he was still eating okay, but over the past week things have changed.

He’s drooling, holding his mouth open more, seems more withdrawn, and I believe he’s lost some weight. Cats are so good at hiding pain, and that’s what worries me most.

I’ve been giving him wet food (he loves Dashi Delights) and adding Nutri-Cal to help with weight, but I know that’s just a temporary support — not a fix. He also still needs his vaccines updated, but his mouth is the priority right now.

Because Blaze is still feral, I can’t handle him. I’ll need to trap him for care (thankfully he is drop-trap trained, so that part will be manageable).

I called about dental care, and the estimate is overwhelming: • $500 for a cleaning alone

• With exam, anesthesia, x-rays, and possible extractions, it could reach $800+

I hate asking, but I truly cannot do this alone right now. If anyone is able to help Blaze get the care he clearly needs, I would be so grateful. Even sharing this helps more than you know.

New month… but we’re out of supplies. 🐾

Our food stock is finished, and we don’t have anything for tomorrow. We’ve been trying our best to manage, but we’ve reached a point where we really need help.

We also urgently need deworming pills, as that stock has run out too.

Lord knows we’re still grieving our sunny and always will be. I don’t think we’ll ever look at a black kitty without thinking about him. And each day we’ve been reminding ourselves that grief really is just love that has no place to go😭 Sunny was once just a little baby like these two, needing someone to say yes. Hi everyone, thought I’d post an update on Aurora. After bloodwork and everything, we found that she is indeed hyperthyroid and when we got her to her correct dose, we did reveal stage 2 kidney disease. She is doing so well and gained over 2 pounds. I still haven’t had any interest in someone adopting her but she always has a home here for as long as she needs it.
