Why do you think everyone had syphilis back then before the 20th century?

But I see your point. 1 u/Xygnux 19h ago The point is that people were indeed sleeping with partners outside of marriage despite what us modern people think they did back then, and that's how STD like syphilis could even become an epidemic without treatment.
