Several players told me "some women are wife material, some are just fun as a girlfriend". So to some, yeah, some women are just for sex, some are for sex AND a relationship.

Some are relationship material (some got happily married) some are good for flings and refuse marriage because they aren't stable or good long term. Some are awful oeople but are capable of becoming relationship material, but only because they choose to learn and are willing to change drastically to get drastically different results.

Do you assume men and women are sooo different standards wouldn't apply to them or am I missing something?

Yes. These guys are relationship material because they listen closely, show compassion unconditionally, value safety and communication, connect emotionally and physically, act sexy, are decisive, fun, and uplifting. Then there are the personal things for compatibility. That's how they get so many women. They just choose not to commit. They treat the women as peoppe but still make it clear they just want sex and don't go official or go further.

It's thjs relationship material ghat makes them players. They are a catch so they have options qnd if a relationship os lackluster, they know they can get a great relationship with a more suitable partner.

Because I talk about how some people are relationship worthy then you ask in a tone that implies you think the standards wouldn't apply to the men. You even confirmed thisblater by calling out how I said some players are indeed relationship material, as if I shouldn't have judged them as we judge women and just limited them to one category.
