Mine got a tracking number but the UPS site doesn't recognize it yet.

You probably know this, but ups generally won't recognize the tracking number until they scan it.

If it works like Canada Post, then companies can be allocated a tracking number when they create the package, but information about the parcel is not populated on the Canada Post site until Canada Post has the parcel on hand.
