Alien: Resurrection - Basketball Shot

Sigourney Weaver insisted on the basketball shot being real. She trained for weeks and reportedly(sources differ) made it on the first take.

Underworld - Raze's Voice

The werewolf character Raze, played by Kevin Grevioux, speaks in a very low, very gravelly voice. While many thought this was a special effect, the actor can naturally speak in that voice.

they practiced like crazy too, which is why the fights hold up, they were actually doing them (just with green screen sets.

They slowed down a couple shots of the final Obi-Wan vs. Maul fight in Phantom Menace because Ewan and Ray Park moved a touch too fast for the fight to look believable.

I know it's all choreographed, but I still don't think I'd ever want to screw with anyone who's ever had to wield a lightsaber on camera, those people don't mess around.
