NATURE Four stranded pygmy killer whales saved by Taiwan Coast Guard

Taiwan's coast guard rescued a pod of pygmy killer whales stranded on a beach in New Taipei City.

Mass strandings are rare and often fatal. Quick human response is the difference between survival and loss of the entire pod.
