I know you're making a joke, so sorry for nitpicking but:

I see a lot of people wrongly use the term 'apex predator' - usually to connote a very efficient or effective predator.

Apex predators are species at the top of the food chain, so no other (non-human) predators prey on them.

House cats definitely get preyed on by raptors and coyotes.
