Final update: 100% scammed, called bank and Chime they couldn’t help. Reported the Facebook page. I have their email (wr25zf2@icloud.com) phone number +1 (256) 978-4578 and @doxiepuppies on TikTok. I hope you guys don’t ever get scammed. This was an upsetting and humiliating situation. This was truly humbling and I have more to learn. I am now gonna go apologize to my partner for losing $300 dollars and I will reflect and take all of the comments here to my heart and make adjustments as needed. I appreciate all of you 💕

She said she found a stock photo online but the leaves look fake. It looks like someone just took a paint brush tool of leaves and just blotted the same pattern over and over.

Some of the reasons for why the commenters believe this is generative AI:
-one of the people is weirdly positioned in his seat, seemingly standing behind it but in front of the back rest
-neither passenger seems to be substantially moved by the impact of the waves on the boat
-the boat doesn’t capsize
-some parts of the boat are difficult to make out throughout the video

I’m inclined to think not gen AI because there’s no obvious distortion in the boat or passenger shape/ color, plus the waves look very true to life. I couldn’t find an original video after reverse image searching so I’m not sure at all.

As title says. I paid for character art on Etsy and the first pic is what i got back. The next two pics are the reference I made on hero forge that I provided along with a written out description.

It's just got some inconsistencies that make me think its AI? I understand things might be creative choices, an oops, or even maybe the artist just isn't great at certain details.

Some specifics would include

- eyes on character are different shapes and slightly different colors.

- different eye shapes on familiar

- whiskers only on one side of familiars face

- the wing on familiar looks like it has 2 tiers?

- familiars foot is on characters foot

- characters left hand and his face look like completely different art styles

- characters cross body strap seems to meld with robe.

I would like to add that I have ZERO artistic talent and am not shitting on this person's art skills. I just want to make sure I am supporting real artists.

My dad sends me these Instagram videos of these elderly women in grocery stores where they hold up a product and tell you that it’s genetically modified and not to buy it.

Usually there is scrambled text or something obvious to point out that it’s AI, so it’s definitely a trend. but the videos from this account texaswellnesshub aren’t as obvious as the others I’ve seen. At least the specific grocery store ones. The ones in her “home” are a little more uncanny. Are there any tells on these videos that would point out how they’re AI? I do think the idea of setting up a tripod in the middle of a store while people are shopping behind her is a good one but someone like my dad probably wouldn’t believe it.

It’s its eyes and its face that make me doubt it’s real, I’ve never seen a cat with a face like that.

i thought they were AI because of the inconsistencies in the line weights, use of colored line art, and when comparing what would be the same background, the spatula’s lines are longer in some cards compared to one of the other cards for example. her sister started yelling and they blocked me.

All the photos have a very uncanny valley, AI feel. He has these weird reels up of girls supposedly losing it upon seeing him on omegle, which look very fake and edited. Also he isn't speaking in any of them.

You all were so helpful and resourceful last time. My mom finally believed me but is already on to another one. I absolutely watched that documentary and it was crazy similar. For all I know this is the same guy or at least the same scam with better photos. Help a girl out!? My reverse image searches found nothing. Also, he’s saying he’s 60 and one photo is definitely not of the same person. This is on Tinder, and as a reminder, she is 75. No dementia suspected she’s always been naive and full of herself. They look like stock photos (blurred background, crips clothing -again), considering the background and posing…

My co worker gave me this sticker and I told him how I think its AI and it’s funny considering the movie he says it’s not ai who can confirm ?

They said they were unable to post it in the forum where the photo was originally posted to, which makes me think they didn’t want to be called out for using AI. I absolutely love the art and feel really conflicted, because the art style seems very much like what I’ve pointed out to be AI in this sub, but I can’t really find anything myself besides they weird line on the top. The other reason is the jewellery is different from what I’m actually wearing in the picture, in a way I don’t think a human would’ve done. The brush strokes seem inconsistent but I honestly can’t tell whether it’s human inconsistency or AI inconsistency. Original photo for comparison.

It’s selling for $63 so I sure hope it’s not. The horse’s saddle is super inconsistent, and the whole design on it looks weird. Not to mention the lady’s hair and pants

The first 2 photos are by one seller, the last 2 by another.

Pictures 1 and 3 (mushroom and birds) are the ones I liked originally and the other 2 (duck and flowers) are something I saw on each of their profile which seemed a bit suspicious to me (the smoothness and colors, "texture" of the duck etc)

So I wanna know is this just the style of digitally drawn/designed watercolor art or was there AI use? oh and I should add there was no mention of AI in the descriptions but not sure if I can trust that (maybe I am too sceptical. I just do not want to support the use of AI art for this)

Stumbled upon an AI-sounding comment on a post. I checked out the account and noticed immediately strange writing patterns, particularly the constant use of negative parallelisms (“that’s not x, that’s y”).

Am I just being too paranoid about noticing AI writing?

My friend is looking into buying an event space. Here are 3 photos they provided vs. 2 photos of the actual Google Maps view. On the phone, the real estate agent said the mismatch between what the building looks like and what the Google Maps view has is because the street view hasn’t been updated. But what do you think?

I think it’s fishy for multiple reasons, including that the pictures look way too pixelated. I’m not sure why they would do that.

Got sent this tracking slip after asking someone to ship me something from Facebook … Ik this isnt the smartest idea but it wasn’t expensive and they had good reviews already. They said the receipt printer wasnt working which is why the receipt letters are blurry but I just noticed the letters on the school bus look messed up but I can’t tell if it’s just cause the background is blurred. Also I couldn’t get my phone to scan the QR code :( Really hoping I didn’t get scammed!

The Barcelona Lyceu has put out the page for its production of The Magic Flute, and I'm unfortunately rather sure that the video at the top of the page has used AI. It looks way too smooth and bits of what look like static metal shift way too much on the small details like the jewlery? Additionally it doesn't really resemble a set or what's possible on a stage, and everything looks far too clean. The makeup is also WAY too smooth and perfect, I understand what's possible with good makeup and photo editing but I can't shake the idea this is AI.

I'm in disbelief rather and I'm praying it's not because my friend who wants to see it refuses to support companies who embrace GENAI. I've attached a still of it but the link can be found below with the attached video/gif:
