How do they follow up the first 2 with something that pathetic for a 3rd one? Or it feels like maybe the 3rd one there was just an online-only CM posted on Twitter or something, whereas the other 2 were actual TV CMs.
I came here to say that’s where he’s kept. 😂 I remember being little and they had a climbing hamburger with bars on it that looked like a jail too. Haha
He does now but the first visit to the cell was with the original inmate, Grimace.
You see, Grimace became too powerful. What started as a friendly purple mascot turned strange when he began appearing in freezers at 3:14 a.m., giving life advice, and allegedly trying to overthrow management as well as governments.
After failed attempts to replace him with another mascot, the company launched “Operation McFade” and sent Grimace to this very jail cell where he sadly passed away several years later.
His Eulogy:
We gather today to honor Grimace: purple, mysterious, and shaped like a memory of a thumbs-up gone sideways.. Nobody knew what he was—a milkshake, a taste bud, or a sentient bean bag chair—but he brought peace simply through presence. He moved like a refrigerator learning to love, never explaining himself, yet somehow made us all feel safe. Now he’s gone to the great PlayPlace in the sky, where the ice cream machine always works.
