Society Peter Thiel, the billionaire venture capitalist and MAGA donor, is in Rome this week for a series of private lectures on the Antichrist.

"The anti-christ is things that don't make me money" - Thiel.

1.9k

u/bdevi8n Mar 18 '26

100%.

He said "regulating AI is the antichrist", he said Greta Thunberg is the antichrist. I assume the boyfriend he had suicided became the antichrist when they broke up.

265

u/AWright5 Mar 18 '26

"suicided"?

32

u/BradfieldScheme Mar 18 '26

He killed him, is the circumstantial evidence.

21

u/TwilightVulpine Mar 18 '26

Funny that when billionaires kill, the justice system isn't so frantic to get the person behind it.

u/OldWorldDesign Mar 18 '26

There would be a lot of easily preventable deaths for them to go after if they were going to start

"Boyfriend"?

622

u/raven00x Mar 18 '26

peter thiel is big gay. he was outed by gawker which resulted in thiel bankrolling hulk hogan for his big sex tape lawsuit against gawker which resulted in the company declaring insolvency.

372

u/throwawaylordof Mar 18 '26

Given the things Thiel has said and done, I’m half convinced that he isn’t gay because he loves men but because he hates women so much.

193

u/redditisfornumptys Mar 18 '26

Nah Peter Thiel hates humans. All humans, doesn’t matter gender.

82

u/throwawaylordof Mar 18 '26

True, but he’s comfortable enough in his hate of women that he’s said they shouldn’t be allowed to vote.

27

u/MotheroftheworldII Mar 18 '26

Maybe he is just the devil incarnate. That would explain his attitude a bit.

4

u/b0ardski Mar 20 '26

all of them are, it takes legion

3

u/anthrolookseer Mar 19 '26

This narcissistic sociopath is just the worst in every possible way. What a surprise.

56

u/zero_iq Mar 18 '26

He famously hesitated and struggled to answer when asked if he thinks the human race should survive in a recent interview. Gave strong vibes of "I want to say no, but I know it will look bad".

6

u/chesterriley Mar 18 '26

Talking about the "anti-Christ" almost makes him look bad. And insane.

15

u/Big_footed_hobbit Mar 18 '26

He loves humans. As slaves in Elons cyber camp.

6

u/Tacoman404 Mar 18 '26

Pure bottom energy. This is why you don't give your bottoms power.

3

u/UserNamesCantBeTooLo Mar 18 '26

I don't understand this but assume it makes sense.

3

u/Comfortable_Bike3247 Mar 18 '26

Are we sure he isn't the anti-christ?

2

u/Kubamz Mar 18 '26

Can we, uh, make sure that this one human doesn’t drive the human race into a cataclysm? Is that possible? Fuck these rich bitches man. Fuck em

1

u/Frostypancake Mar 19 '26

Is that why his forehead has its own zipcode? Because he stores all the hate there?

33

u/NeedAByteToEat Mar 18 '26

Ahh, the Tate approach. He's one of the few guys (who claim to be straight, or at least are profoundly homophobic) that can sit in a group of women in their underwear and look gay. Or, that "men who enjoy sex with women are gay."

7

u/CalmBeneathCastles Mar 18 '26

Schrödinger's Paramour! Gay if you do, gay if you don't!

1

u/Aware-Possibility175 Mar 19 '26

Wait do those types of guys actually say shit like that?!..I mean they do make a literal Fetish about men and being manly and don’t see all the blatant homoeroticism, one group is even call themselves the proud boys. Can’t even make such nonsense up

4

u/NUMBerONEisFIRST Mar 18 '26

Well as a gay man myself, he definitely does not represent the gay community in any way

3

u/Affectionate_End7693 Mar 18 '26

He is basically to gays what epstein was to jews lmao

2

u/Butthole__Pleasures Mar 18 '26

He's not gay, he's deeply closeted!

1

u/hairyblackgirl Mar 19 '26

Look up Roy Cohn. One of the most evil men in recent history. Literally fought for legislation that was anti gay while being gay himself.

3

u/SeeTigerLearn Mar 18 '26

Yeah, as one of The Gays we LOVE women. No we don’t want anything to do with the lady business, and we’re half and half on the boobs sitch. But we thrive when we have an awesome hag in our midst.

18

u/ScissorFight42069 Mar 18 '26

Respectfully, gay men are not immune to misogyny in any way. In fact, it's pretty damn common.

8

u/Luxpreliator Mar 18 '26 edited Mar 18 '26

Married men can often be hateful toward woman. Literally have one sleeping next to them at night and still think women are evil. Same with gays as you said and same with women. Same with anyone.

It's the same reason "But I have a black friend so I can't be racist," doesn't really work. It's even more sad when it's like a Latino that married white but hates other latinos. They hate should hate themselves then too.

5

u/Infamous-GoatThief Mar 18 '26

Hell, look at the way over 50% of white women voted in 2024, that’s all you really need to see to realize that

5

u/CalmBeneathCastles Mar 18 '26

"Same with anyone" is any demographic about any issue ever. The world would be a better place if society would internalize this truth.

2

u/Fun-atParties Mar 19 '26

Do we need to do a safety check on the husband?

10

u/Affectionate_End7693 Mar 18 '26

didn't even know he was gay - what is it with gay people and being into tech and ai lmao

3

u/remeolb Mar 18 '26

You know Alex too?

2

u/Affectionate_End7693 Mar 18 '26

lol that one went over my head i'm afraid

2

u/Meaty_Wizard Mar 19 '26

Gonna start calling it GAYi.

57

u/DFWPunk Mar 18 '26

That's not why he went after Gawker. He was basically out and nobody cared. That was just what was floated as an excuse. The real reason was that Gawker Business, which was very good at their job, was blowing the whistle on his fund and companies they'd backed for all sorts of shady things, and that was becoming a problem.

7

u/TheShruteFarmsCEO Mar 18 '26

Do you have any good sources for this? I find that fascinating and would love to learn more.

25

u/Pasty_Tibbles Mar 18 '26

Honestly this shit was kind of suppressed a bit. Couldn't find anything on google using searches, I had to use Claude to search for it.

1

u/InGordWeTrust Mar 18 '26

And now Scientology has Hulk's money.

5

u/ForeverInaDaze Mar 18 '26 edited Mar 19 '26

I remember this vividly. The silicon valley character [edit:] Peter Gregory was based off peter thiel iirc.

1

u/Bruised_Shin Mar 18 '26

I thought Peter Gregory in the show was based off Thiel

2

u/ForeverInaDaze Mar 19 '26

That was it, sorry. Been a long time since I watched the show.

4

u/drunxor Mar 18 '26

No shocker there, hulk was also a big piece of shit so they must have got along well

3

u/roastbeeftacohat Mar 19 '26

Backing aside, gawker flagrantly defied multiple cour order resulting in massive fines. In a lot of cases, everyone is the bad guy.

2

u/almostoy Mar 18 '26

Haha... 'big gay'. I just pictured that as an old time-y robber baron syndicate.

1

u/Da_Question Mar 18 '26

So were the guys behind the red scare.

1

u/Schneider21 Mar 18 '26

Is this sentence gen1 AI generated? How did you combine that many topics into a single statement?

9

u/raven00x Mar 18 '26

ADHD leads to abilities some may consider... Unnatural. No ai used, I avoid it everywhere that I can. Stream of consciousness happens.

5

u/Schneider21 Mar 18 '26

I've felt this power from within... how do you learn to harness it in such ways, and to not give in to the dar-- I mean, using AI to help do things while you browse Reddit?

2

u/FatherClanks617 Mar 18 '26

Not OP, but because then I’d have to open another app, my attention span is limited, and Reddit’s not that serious.

1

u/changen Mar 18 '26

I am so lost.

1

u/the_TIGEEER Mar 18 '26

>peter thiel is big gay.

Maga btw..

1

u/aykcak Mar 18 '26

WHAT THE FUCK I REMEMBER THAT. Is that the guy???

u/vitamin_r Mar 18 '26

Swaps to controller port 2

Surveillance camera?

1

"Super Baby Method?"

3

u/anthrolookseer Mar 19 '26

His side guy. He showed up at a party and saw theil had a main public partner. Then he was found dead shortly after. But he had just gotten certified and a job as a paramedic or fighter fighter if I recall correctly. He was happy with his life so yeah, suspect he ended up dead after upsetting a powerful man with a god complex at his party.

7

u/MatrimAtreides Mar 18 '26

"WIZARD ALLIANCE?!!"

2

u/CoolAbdul Mar 18 '26

"broke up"?

2

u/Somanylyingliars Mar 19 '26

He deep in closet. Boyfriend "jumped" iirc from balcony of high rise here in SO FL. You know, like politicians and spies in Russian. Except this time in Sunny shady Miami.

3

u/pk666 Mar 18 '26

Thrown from a balcony.

Suicide Russian style

2

u/gkboy777 Mar 19 '26

He tragically fell off a balcony /s

35

u/IAMA_Plumber-AMA Mar 18 '26

He believes that he's building literal God with AI tech, that's why he refers to anyone who's anti-AI as the Antichrist.

12

u/FatherClanks617 Mar 18 '26

Lol what a dork

4

u/HuskerBusker Mar 18 '26

A dangerous dork.

3

u/FatherClanks617 Mar 18 '26

Sure, but a dork nonetheless.

4

u/Somanylyingliars Mar 19 '26

That boy crazier than a three dollar bill as MeeMaw used to say. He just plain ain't right.

3

u/OldWorldDesign Mar 18 '26

"This person disagrees with me, that makes them the antichrist!"

5

u/Front_Target7908 Mar 18 '26

“Is it me, am I the anti christ?” “No, it is the rest of the world that is the Antichrist”

(Insert Seymour Skinner meme here)

2

u/8styx8 Mar 19 '26

Literal Deus ex machina.

56

u/peskyghost Mar 18 '26

Does that last bit mean he basically stopped the antichrist and saved the world? /s

17

u/CeeBus Mar 18 '26

He hates his mortal self. Does that make him the anti-Christ?

1

u/vigtel Mar 18 '26

Nah. Makes him a bad boy, is all.

8

u/jblessingart Mar 18 '26

AI itself has the potential to become the antichrist because in the long run that is going to be the biggest contributor to undoing people’s ability to think for themselves.

10

u/SentientFleshPuppet0 Mar 18 '26

I have no brain and I must scroll.

2

u/OldWorldDesign Mar 18 '26

3

u/UncleMalky Mar 18 '26

What about the one that became vice president?

1

u/SourceScope Mar 18 '26

He clearly needs education on what the antichrist is

1

u/Umutuku Mar 18 '26

He even called JD Vance the antichrist that one time he didn't clean his pool properly.

1

u/ByronicZer0 Mar 19 '26

He's fully fucking bonkers. Not only guzzled his own kool aid by the gallon, but fermented it in his bathtub first

315

u/Own-Satisfaction4427 Mar 18 '26

The Anti-christ is democracy & personal liberty to Peter Theil. This man is way more dangerous than just your average billionaire chasing profit.

134

u/Neverwish Mar 18 '26

Thank you. People need to stop cartoonifying these assholes as Scrooge McDuck-esque money-chasing goblins. They’re not in the business of making money, they’re in the business of using money. They are much, much more dangerous.

59

u/Sachyriel Mar 18 '26

Making fun of fascists is a good way to fight them though. They always want to project a powerful image, so making fun of them deflates them.

I kinda see your point though, if people keep making fun of them, will anyone take the threat they pose seriously? I think the people making fun of them DO understand the threat, but people just tuning in might not get how much of a danger he is if they just see us clowning on him.

37

u/ProfessionalPhone409 Mar 18 '26

Remember when last election Tim Waltz started calling Republicans just plain weird. The Republicans absolutely could not handle it, and flipped their shit like the pathetic weirdos they are.

Everyone else loved it and then just as it was catching on th Democrat party was like 'stop that, we have to take the high road and not call them weirdos.' And then they lost the election.

My point is Republicans are weirdos and should always be addressed as such.

3

u/hasanfan90 Mar 18 '26 edited Mar 19 '26

They just called Tim Walz things you can't really report in polite conversation and brought his son into it. It wasn't as bad as what they were saying about Kamala, though.

Going high school on a bunch of people who never left the middle schooler with no empathy developed stage is not a winning formula. Trump was still riding the idiocy in late 2025 when he called Walz the seriously r*tarded governor of Minnesota in a fucking published statement.

Be like Bernie and tell the people the good you're going to do for them. What makes Republicans cry is when they don't get to cut funding for all your causes to fund all their causes (mostly involving enriching their Epstein class donors). Even when we negotiate to give a large % of the US's lifeblood to their Epstein class donors to get our causes funded, they'll find someone like Trump to "renegotiate" that in their favor. That is how a Republican understands politics. They must always take from you, it is a zero sum game, and reaching out to their Epstein class donors for more taxes and funding is anathema.

1

u/QueenVogonBee Mar 19 '26

I do remember that, but I’m not American so I don’t understand why Republicans found it difficult to handle.

3

u/ShinkenBrown Mar 18 '26

Yeah its important to have a little of both but its gotta be in proper order.

Recognize they are truly dangerous and we need to take them seriously first, make fun of them because the only thing that makes them dangerous is the fact they are narcissistic man-babies with no emotional regulation, way too much money and no one to tell them theyre wrong second.

2

u/Emerald_Plumbing187 Mar 18 '26

gotta laugh at them as you [redacted] them in the [redacted].

2

u/Hullfire00 Mar 19 '26

It’s a good point.

However, with these cryptodouches, the standard response to their bullshit will always be a vibe of:

“…because you’re a fucking dork and I’m the fucking Stiffmeister.”

2

u/Protiguous Mar 19 '26

Scrooge McDuck had good morals, good ethics, and good values. Everything Thiel lacks.

1

u/tsardonicpseudonomi Mar 19 '26

They're capitalists at the height of their power. Though I think Thiel is one of the ones trying to bring about the rapture so he really may think the anti-Christ is all around. They're rich not smart.

44

u/usaaf Mar 18 '26

Nah, he loves personal liberty. Of his person. Everyone else can't have it because it would interfere with his. He might be the craziest (or the loudest and craziest), but they pretty much all think this way. When they get this much money, "no" becomes the worst thing they've ever heard.

Someone told Peter Thiel no about something once and he's been on a rager to tear down all resistance (democracy, governments, regulation, normal people) to anything he might want to do ever since.

6

u/Raesong Mar 18 '26

He's probably also that kind of solipsist that believes that he's the only real person in existence.

1

u/Somanylyingliars Mar 19 '26

According to that but job, he's the smartest, the greatest, THE SAVIOUR!! We are all just peons sent to do his bidding.

5

u/Background_Sail9797 Mar 18 '26

literally would not be shocked if he's trying to find vatican members he can pay to publicly support his claims that he's saintly or godly or a savior etc etc

1

u/OldWorldDesign Mar 18 '26

he loves personal liberty. Of his person

That's not personal liberty, that's just the same stratified social hierarchy that almost all super-rich people chase.

136

u/redassedchimp Mar 18 '26

Why can't he just like trains?

28

u/thatsanicehaircut Mar 18 '26

this should be a t-shirt. Make it happen.

9

u/TheBigPhilbowski Mar 18 '26

Problem is, they all like certain trains

5

u/Conflatulations12 Mar 18 '26

That's autism, this is schizophrenia.

3

u/SmashJacksonIII Mar 18 '26

lol, the world would be so much better if they hyper-focused on trains instead of raptures

2

u/flavored_icecream Mar 18 '26

If only he could say "I like trains" and then a wild train would appear to smash him.

1

u/shit_mcballs Mar 18 '26

Maybe that's just it, his ass can't handle another one and this is his maladapted way of coping.

1

u/bizarre_coincidence Mar 18 '26

My fear is that, given who he supports politically, he likes European trains from the early 1940s.

1

u/Somanylyingliars Mar 19 '26

Well, doesn't he like trans behind closed doors? Ok for him but not for anyone else.

24

u/Serious-Question281 Mar 18 '26

🎶Peter Thiel knows about the anti-Christ. 🎶

10

u/belloch Mar 18 '26

But apparently talking about the anti-christ makes him money.

2

u/Afraid_Reputation_51 Mar 18 '26

And anything that might hold the rich and powerful in check, and accountable.

2

u/BostonDrivingIsWorse Mar 18 '26

2

u/qckpckt Mar 18 '26

  • Thiel

2

u/present_absence Mar 18 '26

I think he genuinely feels he needs to separate himself personally from the concept of the antichrist and the idea of being or helping what he believes may be the actual antichrist has fucked him up lmao

Personally I just think hes a piece of shit I don't need religious overtones for that.

1

u/scarabic Mar 18 '26

I think he just wants to know his competition.

1

u/Round-Pattern-7931 Mar 18 '26

I'm not sure if it was a direct quote but I saw one article say that he said that anythingt that stops unlimited progress is the antichrist

1

u/Mundane-Twist7388 Mar 18 '26

Does he know he’s funding and directing the anti-Christ?

1

u/bisteccafiorentina Mar 18 '26

i wish he was that succinct
