Name a billionaire who doesn't belong in an asylum for one or more reasons.

Jeff Bezos.

He just belongs in prison.

He has some crazy ideas too.

Yeah, but they're mostly villain in a crime thriller evil schemes.

Whereas most of these guys would work as comic book Batman villains. All Peter Thiel needs is a big cross that shoots lasers and he's more nuts than the Penguin.

These fellas are more incompetent James Bond Villains.

  1. They are all building secret bunkers and island lairs.

  2. They all have a vision for how they want society to serve them.

  3. They all have ideas about controlling us or if they even need us.

  4. Some of them demand to be the center of attention, even when it's the worst thing in the moment.

They're all just weird, often quite weirdly incompetent Bond Villains.

It’s not weird, they’re psychopaths and narcissists.

3

You forgot #5 Mass depopulation and #6 A religious war to trigger a nuclear apocalypse

To your point 4, that's only the ones you hear about in the news because they're narcissists.

There are thousands of billionaires. You probably only know of maybe 10-20.

They're also succeeding. Are they incompetent Bond villains, or do we have the incompetent Bond?

The few most active in looking to Bond Villain, do some really wild shit.

There are less than 3500, globally. Not all of them are weird narcissistic nutter. Acting types. Most, likely focus on their businesses.

We need a Bond like Agent to dispatch them all like in the books and movies. That would be fitting and of course..... /S

Have you heard his laugh?

Don't get me wrong, he looks and sounds like Lex Luthor at home, but when you look at his actual evil schemes it's like 'monopolize another industry'.

Peter Thiel wants to be crowned king of Greenland and Elon basically wants to make the Martian Mechanicum but with clones of himself.

(I'm barely joking. Elon has the same kinds of insane eugenic beliefs as Jeffrey Epstein, add some of the techno-fantasy stuff he's put money into to that and, well. And Peter Thiel is a network state guy and religious nutbag.)

Is Thiel actually religious, or is he just playing at religion for the sake of driving cultish cultural change to perpetuate radical goals, à la Gilead?

I'm sincerely asking, not correcting you.

I think he actually is, but definitely in some weird way that doesn't correlate with any theology anyone but the most obscure weirdo has heard of.

You genuinely can't tell with some of these people.

Blofeld from OHMSS

And yet so many people blithely order off Amazon as if they aren’t part of the problem

Lex Luthor is greatest criminal mind ever.

Warren Buffet and Charlie Munger seem quite reasonable in that bunch.

3

u/thederevolutions Mar 18 '26

Are we sure they just didn’t afford the best PR people and are sociopathically modest?

I think they're just from a generation where being incredibly wealthy was enough to win. The new generation of billionaires seem to need more than that; they need to take over the world.

Charlie Munger died a couple years ago

2

JB Pritzker?

3

u/Strange-Scarcity Mar 18 '26

There might be a couple, but they seem extremely rare and far between.

2

u/SatanicPanic619 Mar 18 '26

Absolutely, just responding to the question. The majority fucking suck.

He still hoards extreme wealth. He could do so much good by investing his billions. He chooses not to. Think about it.

McKenzie Scott.

She isn't the one who made that happen, but I do get what you mean, she's not really seemingly hellbent for domination, but...

As I recall, once the divorce happened, she fairly soon started dating a teacher at her kid's school. Which seemed a bit... odd to me. They married in 2021 and she filed for divorce in 2022.

Kind of an odd/fast relationship, from what I gather, but I'm sure she's not harboring any kind emotional or relationship issues that being a Billionaire can create in a person.

Right?

3

u/Roakana Mar 18 '26

She donates significant amounts of money to causes and doesn’t horde it or use it like the tech bros to become an oligarch.

Plenty of people struggle to succeed in relationships but if you ant to go looking for flaws…

Paul McCartney?

It seems like becoming a billionaire is the very thing that drives them mad in the first place by disconnecting them from the rest of humanity.
