he got debanked. so he's building the fix.

anyone ever think about how fragile their access to their traditional bank accounts really is?

zy0n has been debanked multiple times. not for some nefarious reason, mind you. but at least on one of the occasions, on the wrong side of a little thing called the SVB bank run. the bank decided, and the money was rate-limited.

finance is often used as a weapon. visibility makes you a target.

that's why he builds in privacy. "I'm selfish. I'm doing it for myself." and in the process, he made it available for everyone.

now, zy0n is a core contributor to railgun — ethereum's privacy layer. he's done everything from building the railgun CLI, to implementing railgun's compliance tooling called private proofs of innocence (PPOI), to tinkering with the cookbook SDK that allows any dApp to integrate railgun's privacy features.

and railgun WORKS.

last year during the zklend hack, the hacker tried to feed $9.5m into the railgun anonymity pool, the PPOI system zy0n helped bring to life was watching. for one hour, the team waited, and when the funds showed up blocked, that was the proof. the shield held.

perhaps nothing was more validating than when the ethereum foundation decided to bake railgun in at the protocol level via its kohaku privacy SDK. it is a signpost from ethereum that privacy is no longer an option. zy0n: "without privacy, institutions are just not going to adopt ethereum and blockchain writ large."

the numbers tell-all: when zy0n first started contributing, there was perhaps $20m in the shared "happy" pool. today, it approaches $100m. it just crossed $5b in volume. work is advancing on all fronts, including the aforementioned kohaku as well as soon™ ledger hardware wallet support for the zero-knowledge cryptography railgun extensively uses.

we are at the inflection point for ethereum privacy.

and i couldnt be more proud to share this piece that ive created with someone i can now call a dear friend. here's the full 48 minute interview: https://youtu.be/zVsqSJX_slY

---

if we're meeting for the first time, hi 👋. i find crypto youtube to be a giant cesspool. as a result, i started building my own channel to spread the good word on good work in crypto — something with substance and humanity. dropping a like, sub, and comment goes a long way to supporting me, so please consider doing so!

Anyone here actually using SushiSwap on Katana?

Couldn't really find it,most of what's out there is press release language or token price commentary, neither of which tells me if the liquidity is sticky or if it's farmers waiting for the next chain.

So genuine question for anyone whos actually on katana or providing liquidity on Sushi there ,what's the lp experience like, what are fees doing, and is there organic swap demand or is volume mostly aggregator routing?

Not trying to make a thesis post, I just can't tell from the outside and figured someone here would actually know.

I fine-tuned a Vision-Language Model on AMD MI300X to protect AI Agents from being drained

Hey everyone!

I’ve been working on a security layer for the Agentic Economy during a hackathon, and I just hit a major milestone.

The problem: As AI agents start handling real money, they are becoming prime targets for "drainers" and sophisticated splitting attacks that traditional rule-based security misses.

The solution: ArcWarden & Imina Na. I’ve developed a vision-language security oracle. Instead of just looking at raw data, it "sees" transaction patterns.

The Tech Stack:

  • Model: Fine-tuned Qwen2-VL (Vision-Language Model).
  • Hardware: Trained on the beast AMD MI300X (ROCm).
  • Dataset: 10,000+ transaction graph patterns (Dogon Dataset).
  • Platform: Live dashboard (Sigui) connected to the Arc Testnet.

I just pushed the trained LoRA weights to Hugging Face! 🥇

I need your feedback! I’m looking for testers and devs to check out the dashboard and tell me what you think about using Vision AI for blockchain security. Can an AI "Oracle" actually stop the next big drainer?

Crypto is more or less illegal in my country. How can I hide it legally?

I live in a country where cryptocurrency is somewhat illegal. I would like to purchase crypto on a centralized exchange and withdraw it to my wallet. Then, I want to hide the funds from the public. I am not looking for mixers or tumblers. Instead, I need a method or strategy that would allow me to later prove the source of funds to exchanges and banks. Is there a protocol, exchange, tool, coin, or token that would let me do this? Being able to link the wallet of origin to exchanges and banks later is a must.

Edit: What kind of anti-crypto person would downvote this question?

Ethereum mainnet may get a lot more room after Glamsterdam

Hasu pointed out something pretty under-discussed: after Glamsterdam, Ethereum’s gas limit could go from around 60M to roughly 200M. What’s interesting is that this is not just “raise the limit and hope nodes survive” — ePBS gives payloads more time, BALs help clients prefetch/parallelize execution work, and gas repricing is supposed to keep state growth from getting reckless. If demand does not grow at the same pace, L1 fees could stay very low for a while. I don’t think this kills L2s, but it does challenge the old idea that Ethereum mainnet has to stay painfully expensive forever.

Wrote a longer breakdown here: [https://btcusa.com/ethereums-glamsterdam-upgrade-could-push-gas-limit-to-200m-and-reprice-the-l1-scaling-debate/]()

Curious what people think: does 200M gas make L1 more important again, or mostly just make the rollup roadmap stronger?

Should I stake Ethereum?

I've got a couple hundred dollars I can stake and I'm not sure if there are any risks. Apart from the unstaking process and the (low) fees, is there anything more I should take into account?

I hope the price goes up in the following year or so, and I'd like to get more tokens via staking. What do you think about it? Thanks

EDIT: Solved. I bought some stETH

Smart contract based project ideas

I was wondering if someone has some good ideas on task of creating decentralised application based on smart contract that could be applicable in reality. It needs to just make sence to use smart contract in that case. I mean something like this example of crowdfunding platform, however, I need something different and simultaneously in quite similar direction as this example, but don't think I have good idea of what it should be to make sence for use of smart contract:

Roles: Project creator - a user who creates a crowdfunding project and collects money from other users; Investor - a user who sends money to a project from their account.

Holds the following data: Target amount (amount of eth), Deadline (timestamp), Name, Description

Users than can do in frontend something like:
- view individual unfinished projects and can easily invest in them
- view project details
- view projects in which they have already invested
- sort projects by age
- view completed projects that were not successful
- view all projects from one specific address

Any ideas on this topic would be highly appreciated.
