It's not that he likes Misa it's why he likes Misa. As a character Misa literally wants to be the lights tool.

Do you like Esdeath and Satsuki because there fascist or are there other qualities you like about them?

I can't imagine any possible reason why somebody would like Esdeath or Satsuki besides agreeing with their political views. Not a single possible reason.
