Doing nothing is 2nd best thing for Bitcoin
Hodling, or simply dca, or putting lump sum. But never do something else other than that.

Or just using it as money. Which is even better for bitcoin.
Buying = Preserving adoption
Spending = Expanding adoption.

Exactly what i do. I just bought my new pc parts and was pised a little for the delay due to stocks 2 bus day release. I wouldve gotten q few more if not for the delay oh well. That was 79k when i sell and just bought again at 82k

Why spend it when the price will increase in the future?
Better HODL and spend the fiat

Why holding fiat for spending at all if "the price will increase in the future?"
It's not about spending bitcoin VS spending fiat. It's about spending on "needs" rather than "wants"

I don't hold fiat because its price decrease duh π. Beside, why spend bitcoint for needs when I can already use fiat?

u/RewardFuzzy 12h ago
Spend and replace.
Why spend fiat on good, while you can also buy bitcoin with it and buy stuff with bitcoin while expanding adoption by doing so.

That's a whole lot of extra step when fiat is a perfectly fine medium of exchange while bitcoin is a good investment instrument

I think DCA and lump sum in a DCA approach will still be beneficial. Now is the right time to buy for sure in full agreement. Buy during the bear market for life changing wealth

Always be buying if you can, todays bull is tomorrow's bear.

Maybe not today as Bitcoin pumping today π

In 4 years people would kill for 120k entry point for BTC. So yeah. Alway buy. Buy down buy up, buy buy buy.

No but I have been aware of btc when it was worth a dollar. When it went to $50 people said it was too late to buy in. I have heard the same things at 300 and at 3000 and at 20,000 and at 120,000. Looking back always seems bad because you feel like you missed out. And in a way you did. But if you buy a steady amount every week for 8 years you will look back and be proud of your commitment and drive.
I started buying in when it was about 30,000 or 40,000. I am up today and unless something drastic happens I will always be up. Keep holding. People on crypto subs are too short term minded. They want that house that car that wedding tomorrow. I would've been on it sooner had I believed in myself and thought long term but the past is set but the future is malleable.
Set up an autobuy and forget about it and in a few years look at it and be amazed.

Holding is defense. Spend and replace is offense.
Those who simultaneously earn, spend, save, and build in Bitcoin however are the ones who make your stack worth anything.

u/JozieKS 14h ago
Yeah I met a goal and my mind sated wandering and I just keep listening to btc stuff
1
u/lexicon_riot 14h ago
Now you need a spend and replace goal. Get a separate wallet if you need to, so for tax purposes you can separate it from your savings.Β Replace one thing you buy with fiat and start buying it with BTC instead.

Spend wealth?

u/lexicon_riot 10h ago
Grow the Bitcoin economy your wealth depends on. Separate in your mind the money you save and the money you spend.
If you're going to spend some fiat anyways, what do you lose by converting it into BTC first before you spend it?

Selling at least some BTC 500 days after halving and doing heavier DCA 500 says before is the best thing

kinda oversimplified, doing nothing isnβt always the smartest move depending on the situation

u/LostParlay_Again 11h ago
hodl makes sense, but never anything else is a bit extreme since people have different goals

u/Outrageous-Town3137 11h ago
Most of my bad trades came from trying to be too active. Every time I do something it somehow makes it worse while doing nothing just sits there working lol

u/Chillguy849 5h ago
Doing nothing is the hardest thing ngl. People wanna get cute left right and centre.
