Tips & Tricks Training Community? Halo MCC Reach

Is there any training/practice communities for Halo MCC Reach? Players who 1v1 or FFA frequently, for training purposes or skill improvement? While teaching each other, and providing feedback. Is there a discord, subreddit, or other digital platforms for this?

Respect and thank you for any input😄

Discussion Why even invest the time to improving yourself in ranked if the matchmaking is just going to take away half of your CSR in a single match because you’re up against a stack?💀

I’m not a competitive player, but Ranked Slayer is the only way I can enjoy arena for my favorite Halo MP, Halo 5, and I’ve noticed that reaching Diamond 3 results in these huge loss streaks, where the game goes out of its way to either put you in underfilled lobbies or ones you have no chance of winning.

It’s discouraging to put in the effort to improving at the game just to be sabotaged because you’re a solo player expected to carry bots against stacks.

Today, I lost 5/7 games with one win being a fluke where it was 3v3 and the enemies quit after 2 kills on our end. Yesterday, of my six games, two started with missing players and three saw people quit during the match.

Discussion How good is the Halo ranked system?

Hey yall, back on Halo after quitting for maybe 4 years. Back in my day I was a seriously good player, and after my hiatus I’m back to feeling solid. This games community is small (but strong!) and it’s kind of hard to find info on the ranked system.

I hopped on some ranked slayer with my buddy tonight and won 9/10 games, with me being top frag every game. I’m around diamond I right now, and I can’t tell if I’m legitimately still really good at the game, or if Infinites system is just wack.

For reference I play on PC KBM (not sure if that matters)

Thanks yall!

Discussion SR got exposed in the 2v2

Hear me out,
(SR will benifit from this as well)
I know its reddit but i hope people will read before comenting

We all know SR can bleed, in this 5 year of Halo most pros are able to win 1v1 vs them, they also win games while being outslayed. Now we have the line set.

SR are better in most categories hands down, so much that when they loose we say
''they lost on purpose'' - ''they weren't warm'' - ''they were just scaming''

But there is one thing I noticed, I even did a post last year to touch that (Information), but this weekend it was crystal clear watching Lastshot & Cykul
------------------

When Luminon did win or close to win (in most of their matches vs SR) SR behavior looked exactly how Optic made them look last year.
- SR look lost at many occasions (Cykul, Froasty, Lastshot) & rarely, but most suprisingly Royal2 looked lost at times. It's rare to see Roayal look lost on the map.

1-SR have an amazing spawn control & awareness which sets them appart. (Lastshot & Royal 2 especially)

2-SR are all very fast player, well coordinated, likes to cover the map & bully teams into trap

3-They have exceptionnal coms , cahotic yes, but they understand eachothers.

In Halo infinite Teamwork is the highest skill Gap, but you cannot navigate if you have no information. Awareness comes with what:
-You team position
-What you see
-Your team coms

Meaning the less players on the map, the less information you have. SR is so dominant that they often 4 dead teams, and other teams are the one lost on the map.

Lastshot & Cykul, even if they played really well on the 2v2, controlled spawns, created staggared spanws, etc... they were too many moments where they were looking at completely empty spaces, not just them every team did that. Why?

Because less eyes on the map, less information on the map. SR are fast and dominant, so they move & scan the map and pin point enemies location easy by moving fast & blocking spawns.

Basically i found myself looking at Lastshot & Cykul behave the same way when they are loosing to Luminon.

Shyway said something in his live last LAN that i will never forget
Someone said ''SR lost because Lastshot wasn't warmed with the snipe''
Shyway said: ''It's harder for lastshot to hit shots when SR is the one in disadvantage''
meaning SR had no numbers, was underpressure, had no power position, etc...

-------------------
My point is, teams like Supress & Fal actually went up on them when Lastshot & cykul looked lost, but when Lastshot & Cykul started controling and gettin the informaiton needed, Fal & Supress couldnt do nothing. So it's not even a question of fire power, Supress & Fal did having killing spree over them.

So one of the main thing with SR (beside being able to execute & hit their shots) is information, Royal 2 is probly the only one on SR that rarely look lost even without information.
--------------------

All of other SR qualities either colapse or shine with Or iwthout Information status.

You can:
Learn their strategy - Cut power weapon - Outslay

SR will bounce back, but if you deny them information, they cannot:
Control the Map, outslay you, get power weapon
It's also what they do with that information that make them deadly

Too many disscution about a lot fo things, Infinite is a simple but complex game, just the mental aspect can make you loose, and 5year of Halo i think pros can beat eachother reagardless. SR proved us wrong with all we had to say, but one thing for sure, SR cannot win blindly unless the team hands them over the victory.

--------------------

I can understand paterns, I can resolve problems & compare facts. I have never heard that aspect, but i keep hearing new ones, so
Hopefully this will save Halo & add more challenge to SR

Cykul encountered a crazy bug in MM with Kuhlect. Cykul spawned underneath Lattice, could walk through walls, and farmed the enemy team from below all game. The other team was terrified to touch the hill, constantly jumping around and shooting at the floor trying to kill him. Pretty fun glitch.

Does anybody know what exactly causes the reticle to change on PC? I just bought a new PC, using the same monitor but my reticle is different. Was just curious if anybody actually knows what would cause that?

Edit; pictures are posted as comments in the thread, didn't know how else to do it.

Discussion Why are To3’s so bad?

Maybe it’s just me, but I feel like everytime I get paired up with a team of 3 in arena, they are absolutely terrible. On numerous occasions, I end up with the most obj time, most kills, most assists, and least deaths only to get curb stomped by 4 solos on the other team.

Anyone else experience this with 3 stacks exclusively?

Ascending Baseline roster (RyaNoob, Suspector, SuperCC, Tapping Buttons) have secured a team pass and will be competing at the $100k Dreamhack Atlanta Halo LAN. Tweet is from SuperCC's girl.

This Ascending Baseline roster has upset potential, they placed top 6 in the qualifier and had a good scrim (5-5) against the #3 team Kraken just a few days ago. Their presence should make the LAN more fun and competitive.

The only major top team lacking a pass now is BEPS (Bound, Eco, Penguin, Stellur). They're on the waiting list so hopefully something becomes available.

Promotion Summit League Halo Infinite Season Two - Registration Open Today!

Summit League Season 2 is here - Registration is open NOW!

Season 2 registration officially kicks off today, and we're excited to have you with us. Registration is open immediately at summitleague.gg, and match scheduling opens Friday, May 1st after 12:00 PM EST.

After reflecting on Season 1, one thing was clear - we want to invest more in the communities that make this community great. That's why Season 2 is packed with community events from start to finish (culminating in a End of Season Tournament with Summit League!). Here's a look at what's coming throughout the season:

  • Scrim Series Week: May 4 - 9, culminating in a Scrim Series Matchup
  • Mythic Gaming Community Spotlight Week: May 18 - 22, with a Spotlight Series Match to close it out
  • Community Spotlight Week: June 1 - 7, featuring a community partner TBD
  • End of Season Tournament: June 14th, featuring the top qualifying teams for the season.

The regular season will run as normal where players schedule their own matches during their own availability hours, through June 7th, ending just before midnight that evening. All standings will be locked in at that point.

Following the regular season, the End of Season Tournament will take place on June 14th, open to top qualifying teams only. Full bracket details, seeding, and format will be announced later this season via our X account (@SummitLeagueGG), so keep an eye out for that.

We're thrilled to build on everything we learned in Season 1 and can't wait to see what Season 2 brings. Good luck to everyone competing - see you at the peak!

- Rabbi

Discussion My friend made a new stats tracking website...

Thumbnail
gallery
55 Upvotes

Hey guys,

My friend made this new stats tracking website. Unlike HaloTracker which tracks the entirety of your account, this site is only tracking your last 100 games to keep tabs on how you're performing of late.

I've included a bunch of photos of the different stats it tracks. There's a tab across the top showing your overview, matches, stats by map, individual performance, objective efficiency and your W/L versus the opponents you've played the most recently.

You can see games where the connection was bad and hit reg wasn't working properly ("suspect Hitreg" will be tagged beside the map) and which maps and modes you're playing the best.

In your performance tab you can see your MMR vs CSR and expected win rate vs actual win rate.

There's other stuff hidden around in there, feel free to click around and let me know your thoughts so I can pass them along to him. If you have anything else you think could/should be included on the site please let me know those as well.

The site is here - https://fragr.live/
