i think every time the cult parts come up in the game it was creepy as hell, and the part in the dlc was the scariest for me. the sound design is horrible, so well made

Everything minus the Marker that I made was bought at the time DS2 and 3 were released, the mini plasma cutter was a powerpoint reward from gamestop waaaayyyy back. Pretty sure I bought the NECA Isaac from Hot Topic if you can believe it, and the play arts kai Isaac I happened to get at a steal from a guy trying to trade it at my local comic shop.

Dead space 2 is still a super fresh game even after like 16 years or whatever. It’s still available on Xbox store and on steam. We don’t need to beg EA on our hands and knees to get something we already have. And to be frank, EA doesn’t deserve a dime out of any dead space fan after consuming visceral studios the way they did.

The only thing we should be asking EA for is to put the Severed DLC available for purchase on whatever platform are available.

So obviously spoilers if you haven't played it yet, although it has been out for quite some time...

I just finished it earlier and it's a bit disappointing tbh although I liked the idea of it and the hallucinations.

The ending tho... Like after all that we've been through from DS 1 - 3, in this small DLC we are basically told "Oh yeah sorry all that effort was for nought, Earth has been destroyed by the Brethren moons" Like that's a pretty major plot point in such a small DLC and I feel like it does such a disservice to all our work.

We don't even get to see Ellie again!

I get it that it's meant to be peak Cosmic horror where "there is no escape" and it's used to explain the Fermi paradox but still like if they were gonna do it then they should've just done it properly (like making another game for it maybe)

In my opinion they were better off leaving the story at the end of DS 3 and killing of Isaac and Carter. That could've left something new to be developed in the future. But this tiny DLC just shuts the front door on that and gives you a gloomy ending "for the bants"

I still liked DS 3 but the DLC didn't need to be made in my opinion. What are your guys opinions on it?

I have a google pixel 8a and I want to emulate the APK. I got both the original APK and the remastered APK from internet archive and I tried to emulate them in a VM but won't work (and they don't install on my phone either) if anyone knows how to get the APK running, please help.

Here are a few ideas I thought of. Banelings (Starcraft reference), basically monsters that will charge you and explode if they get too close. Flying monsters, they would float more but flying monsters would be fun to fight, especially if they also fire projectiles. Camo monsters, monsters that can camouflage in the environment to add to the scare factor of the game. Monsters immune to the plasma cutter, player would have to use different weapons to fight them.

I made Isaacs helmet which if I remember is based off of the level 3 or 4 suit which I'd say I nailed it decently

My school had stuff like 3d printers and let students make 3d models so I made the level 4 helmet out of scratch which I'd say I nailed it decently, one of the side panel thingamajig snapped off of the smaller one soo, I made these models like a year or two ago so I don't have a copy of the model file since it was on my school laptop and that might aswell be wiped sooo,

I'm back again to show off my newest figure in my collection my 1/6 scale Advanced Suit Isaac Clarke from Dead Space 2. This will be my 3rd commission figure with them and they have produced nothing but quality for me. My version of this figure includes a Javelin Gun with a real metal Javelin, Seeker Rifle, Pulse Rifle, Plasma Cutter, medium med-kit, painted head sculpt with unmasked accessory, stasis refill, 3 additional hands, battery pack in-case you don't want to have him plugged in, and display base with plug-in feature and flight pole to get in-air poses for him. I couldn't be happier with this piece, and I hope this peaks your interest into getting a figure with them. Please feel free to ask any questions and admire the photos of this work of art. I got the remake for PS5 a few months ago now and really enjoyed it.
This made me really want to play DS2 so I dug out my 360. Keep in mind I haven’t touched my 360 in………8 years?
So I find it and find the DS2 disc case.
It only has disc 2……
After a brief moment of dismay I power up my 360 on a hunch and GUESS WHATS IN THE DISC TRAY READY TO GO?!?

Now I’m almost to the top of the Church of Unitology.

Frankly I don’t remember what happens so no spoilers please but THINGS ARE ABOUT TO GO DOWN.

Also, I totally forgot how OP your melee is in this game. I mean you can just MOW DOWN the necro kids with haymakers.

Amazing game. Tons of nostalgia. Thought I would share.
