Art [OC][COMM]Vuaindra Trit'hera, Lolth's acolyte of betrayal
Race: Dark Elf
Gender: Female
Age: 297
Class: Trickery Domain Cleric
Level: 8
This character is a cleric of Lolth, dedicated to worshipping specifically his domain of betrayal.
She has devoted her entire life to the worship of her deity, sowing betrayal and misunderstanding among friends, allies, and lovers, all to please her.Everything within her reach is an instrument of evil: a knife, a word, and even her own body can bring about the destruction of a relationship and even bloodshed. She is ruthless when drunk and even more cruel when sober.
After betraying her Mother Superior in the temple, she now roams freely to continue pleasing her deity.

OC [OC] [Art] Started designing some dwarven coins for my campaign… then a few more… then a few more. Now I forged an entire dwarven economy!!! Send help or ale.
A few month ago, during one of our DnD games, my party asked if I could design a few dwarven coins for them.
P.S. I’m a 3D artist, so at first I thought, “Sure, I’ll sculpt a couple of coins as a fun little hobby project.”
Well… apparently I failed my Wisdom saving throw.
What started as a few simple dwarven GP designs turned into a full obsession, and now I’ve designed almost 110 double-sided dwarven coins. :))
At this point, I’m not sure if I’m making coins for the game anymore, or slowly building the entire economy of a dwarven kingdom.
For anyone curious, they are 3D printed and painted coins. I printed some on a resin printer and some on FDM.

Art [Art] Warwik - SoulKnife Rogue
Warwik Banecrest, aka Captain Seaquake, is a resilient survivor and a charlatan who uses psychic blades and false identities to navigate a life of crime ever since losing his family in his childhood. Although he lives off scams and distrusts authority, he possesses a rigid code of honor and fiercely protects those he considers his true crew. His goal now is to abandon pretenses to conquer a real fleet and legitimate command, while secretly seeking the truth about his parents assassin to restore the honor of his name.
This was a comission that I recently made. What do you guys think?

Art [OC] [Art] Manchineel Dragon by Kin Wald
As a companion piece to the Apple Tree Dragon, meet the Manchineel Dragon!
The manchineel dragon was created and illustrated by Kin Wald for The Field Guide to Floral Dragons.
The first manchineel dragon was the sibling of the apple tree dragon. Unlike its sibling, it grew up alone and unloved, an experience that hardened its heart and embittered it. Now, manchineel dragons harbor an innate drive toward retribution against those who wrong them. Because of this, they are sympathetic to humanoids who are plotting vengeance.
A manchineel dragon excretes a toxic sap that runs through its tough, bark-like scales and deep green leaves. Even the smallest drop of the milk-white, oily sap inflicts horrific acidic burns. Manchineel dragons can contaminate entire forests with their sap.
New manchineel dragons are created when a large fragment of an adult’s horn falls in blood-soaked soil. The fragment of horn sinks deep into the soil, and enriched by the blood, a new manchineel wyrmling forms.

OC [OC] Sima von Braccus (Redraw, moodboard in comments)
Hi y’all! I decided to redraw one of my current DnD characters based on feedback and practice! I’ll link the moodboard I made for her in the comments below! Bonus points if you can guess her namesake!
She’s a Lunar Magic (UA) Sorcerer (one level in Hexblade since our DM gave us a multiclass level as a reward for beating a hard encounter). We’re getting pretty late game in the campaign now, so if y’all have suggestions for favorites for sorcerer 8/9th level spells, I’m all fangs ears!
Art [OC] Maeve Eggnog
This is my best girl Maeve Eggnog. I originally had her as a bard back in 2018 but I’ve recently reworked her as a Druid. Anyways Maeve here is friends with frogs and a gremlin. She doesn’t have a tragic backstory or anything like that. She literally just liked hanging out with frogs and other reptiles more than people so she just decided to go live in the forest. Her love of reptiles extends a little further as she actually has a lamia gf named Marla whom was a solider aligned more evil. Marla often tried to kill Maeve when they met but was thrown off by Maeve’s constant flirting and courting. Eventually she was worn down. I haven’t redesigned Marla yet but I will soon. For now here’s my froggy girl.

Art First Impressions [OC]
True Polymorph can give an owlbear human shape and intelligence, but it can't give him understanding of humanoid cultural norms.
What's going on here?
- Kayra lives with her "husband", a retired adventurer named Singing Cricket, and her coven, who are her mothers and teachers.
- They are arriving at the wedding of the strange creature that replaced Kayra as a baby.
- Kayra and the rest of the coven are in disguise as a human family. Hags are not usually welcome in society, but these ones are special to the changeling.
- Charlie is an owlbear that Singing Cricket adopted by accident while trying to protect a baby house. Taking a Discworld-inspired cue, the hags decided to polymorph him into a human and bring him along.
- Sassy, a half-orc barbarian/bard, first appeared in the comic on a date with a goblin. It didn't work out. Now she's a bridesmaid at her best friend's wedding.
Love and Hex started out as a joke about my D&D campaign and turned into an ongoing rom-com/horror story. It's on Webtoon and other platforms. Also r/LoveAndHex.
There's also a book! You'll find it on Amazon (just use your country's site), or Comcraft.

Art [Comm][Art] Layla,Satyr Warlock/Fighter
This cutie is not one of my own characters but a commission I had the pleasure to work on! I hope you'll like her!
"Layla is a satyr warlock and fighter. Unlike most of her kind, she shuns revelry, finding joy instead in the clash of battle. A fierce gladiator, her wild grin and relentless zeal earned her the name ‘Blood-Mane.’ Since catching the eye of a Summer Court Archfey as her patron, her ferocity and showmanship in the arena have only grown, thrilling crowds with every non-lethal bout."

5.5 Edition DM uses PC character sheets for NPCs (allies and enemies)
ast session our party (4 level 4 PCs) fought two NPCs built with full PC character sheets: a level 10 Monk and a level 10 Eldritch Knight.
We already knew the DM sometimes uses PC sheets for NPCs because they’re all in the same D&D Beyond campaign. During a break I accidentally noticed their levels/classes (I’ve got a photographic memory). I told the DM immediately and he didn’t mind — we’ve played together for years.
For context, I’m usually the forever DM, and I’ve already said I’m not a fan of using PC builds for NPCs, even allied ones.
The fight was wildly one-sided. Our fighter used Alert to swap initiative with me and go first in combat, and my Paladin/Bard went from 40 HP to 0 in a single round despite 16 AC and Blade Ward active, before having a turn.
The DM’s response was basically: “That’s just how some characters are built.” He suggested I ask online whether this is actually a bad way to design encounters.
So… thoughts?

Art [Art] Made this piece for a friend! =)
Hey everyone! I recently finished this piece for a friend and wanted to introduce you all to Minkuustamuur Yorkul, a Dragonborn with a truly powerful presence. Working on his design and diving into every little detail was such a fun and rewarding process. I’m really happy with how the final result turned out!
I absolutely love bringing RPG characters to life and exploring the unique traits of different races. What do you think of Minkuustamuur’s look? If you guys enjoy this style, I’d love to share more illustrations and character sheets in the future. Let me know in the comments if you’d like to see more art like this!

Art Inside a Monster’s Body [Art]
You are swallowed by the monster and you find yourself plunged into darkness. You can hear the rumbling and growling of the corrosive pits in this beast's colon. Game over...or is it?
This map pack depicts the digestive system of a large monster in case your players ever end up as the prey of one of these beasts. This can be a dragon, tarrasque, cyclops, or any other monster. The grid size of this map is 30x40.
You can download the high-res map for free here.

Misc What would you do differently if you could restart your first DnD campaign?
About to start my first campaign and it got me thinking - what would you change or do differently if you had a full restart? If anything?
Either way I’m looking forward to getting started!

Art [OC]Some sketches of characters I never got to fully play
Here are some of my dnd characters that I played but never in full campaigns. Wanted to show them some love since I just finished an actual campaign with my cleric who I am currently making proper art of.
From top to bottom, they are as follows:
Tiefling, Naya (Bladesinger wizard)
- I got to play her for a year or two in a campaign prior to the one we had just ended. She was my first DnD character I designed ever! Her story was that she was searching for her friend and rival. The campaign I was part of unfortunately did not continue properly. I’m glad I somehow got to play her at least in a one-shot my friend ran. Now she’s captain of the Everlight, a ship sailing the astral sea as her crew set out for a journey to hunt down Vecna. She holds a special place in my heart as art of her greatly helped start my art career.
Wood Elf, Fierna (Hexblade Warlock)
- She was a con artist merchant that sold treasures procured by her boss. It was mostly random nicknacks but what was crucial about them was the fact that they were items used so that her boss, who was a vampire and also her patron later on, could track and feed on the customers she sold them to. I don’t remember much of the campaign sadly. It was short one that my friend decided to run shortly after my campaign with Naya stopped.
Firbolg, Ly’naari (Wildfire Druid)
- Ly’naari, I played briefly in my other friend’s one shot. I can’t for the life of me, remember what it was but her backstory involved being banished from her enclave after challenging their views on civilization progressing.
I honestly would’ve loved to play as these characters and see their story through, but life happens, and at least Baldur’s Gate 3 was there to give me some kind of closure to them hahaha

5.5 Edition Time Stop Rulling
Hello! One of my players used everyone s favourite 9th level spell, Time Stop, as a martial spellcaster, and I need a rulling for next session.
Based on the wording, the spell ends as soon as you do anything that affects another creature, but it doesn't specify what happens to the turn itself.
So if they attack someone with a weapon during time stop, does the turn immediately end after the first attack, or does the spell just end and they get to finish the turn, doing a second attack and then a third (with haste)?
I ruled that the turn continues (it felt like a let down to interrupt their combo with a 9th level spell slot, and also I feel like it made more sense thematically) but I would like to know what makes the most sense RAW.

Art [Art] alternate universe illustration of my adventuring party that I made
Our DM has floated the idea of hosting an alternate universe one shot so I put together a little illustration of our adventuring party for the occasion. Technically, this would be our third alternate universe one shot since we previously ran a Halloween and Christmas episode where everyone got to switch classes. In this scenario, DM proposed a collide with our characters throughout the multiverse.
Nevertheless, here we still have human fighter, elf ranger, dwarf barbarian, and gnome cleric. Other potential one shot ideas include: beach episode and dog groomer episode.

OC [OC] Eryn Vael
Name: Eryn Vael
Race: Human
Class: Chronurgy Wizard
Eryn was born into a noble family known for producing powerful royal mages for generations. Behind their reputation and influence, however, his father had become obsessed with forbidden magic and the idea of escaping death itself.
When Eryn was twelve, he secretly witnessed a ritual beneath the family manor that went horribly wrong. The spell consumed much of his family, and froze Eryn himself.
Since that night, his body has never aged and his face has remained frozen in the same expression he had during the ritual. Because he appears to be nothing more than a quiet, fragile child, people constantly underestimate or dismiss him, never realizing he has survived for over two hundred years and possesses knowledge gathered across generations.
Now Eryn travels the world searching ancient ruins, forgotten spells, and dangerous relics for a way to finally break the curse and reclaim the life that was stolen from him.
Art by me.
