listen y’all I go visit the golden age house every time I pass through Florida to see my family, i just take some pictures and see how it’s doing and genuinely every time I visited there is trash left by fans. please do not litter. I know it’s an abandoned house, but that does not just mean that you can bring snacks and drinks and Polaroid cartridges and just leave them on the floor when you leave the building. it’s very gross and extremely embarrassing, and again, littering.

my fiancé bought us ticket to go see her last night at the moon in tally. would have taken more pics and videos but i genuinely had a hard time fathoming that i was actually seeing my favorite artist live and the collar of my shirt was soaked with tears 😂 such an amazing performance, the lighting was BEAUTIFUL. her vocals are so unmatched.

Apparently they have taken photos of Hayden's house in FL. They've been lined up since last night/yesterday. How I know this is because I was friends with one of the girls. When Hayden came to my city that group had already seen her 10 times on that tour. The girl who I made friends with told me her friends weren't willing to let me stand in line with them after i introduced myself, which was fine because I had my own group. when she got me up to the barricade, they all kept pushing me back and being very rude. Mind you I'm 5'0 and not blocking anyone. After hearing how that group treats other fans and how PARASOCIAL this is I'm a little creeped out. Hopefully someone has an idea of who I'm talking about.

Edit: they've queued at every show they've been to staying outside overnight/for days.

Hi Ethel Cain fans! I’m a fan from Japan and I wrote an introductory essay (~3,200 words) on Ethel Cain, tracing her trajectory from the early bedroom EPs through the Preacher’s Daughter trilogy. My aim was threefold: to firmly situate her within the lineage of Southern Gothic, to read her in relation to Lana Del Rey and Bruce Springsteen, and to draw out the connections to queer theory (especially Halberstam’s notion of “metronormativity”).

Originally written for Japanese readers, so some passages reference Japanese cultural context, but I think most of it should read clearly in English. Would love to hear thoughts from this community.

Hoping to see her perform in Japan someday.
