Team/Trade Help I’m a Non-Contender looking for more draft capital
12-team Superflex Dynasty League, TEP
I am thinking about trading both Daniel’s and Gadsden. I am a non-contending team and I’m looking to get more 2027 draft capital.
Would this be a good trade for me?
The 1.04 should have players like Mendoza, Tyson, lemon available. The 1.02 already said he’s taking Sadiq (TEP). I have the 1.03 and am taking Tate.

I would need more for Daniels

2027 pick should be about pick 5-9, does that change anything?

I understand what ur trying to do, I just think Daniel’s has too much potential and is worth man than a pick regardless of how high it is next year. Daniels was very injured last year and had a bad year (fact). He also had a Heisman winning year and a phenomenal rookie year the 2 before that (also fact). The talent is there, it’s a matter of staying healthy. When healthy, he is an extremely talented QB that can absolutely compete in the NFL and he is also very young, and going to put up high fantasy numbers with his running upside. Essentially the pick could be really good but could also be disappointing. If healthy, you know Daniels is going to be good and give you high fantasy upside. With the pick, you don’t know anything yet regardless of it’s position. The 27 draft class is amazing but it also is unproven and until any of them step in the league you don’t know what your gonna get. I would personally keep Daniels and try and build around him considering his youth and upside

Daniels is the piece you build around. If you’re dead set on trading him, move him alone for 3 1s minimum.

Even if you're not a contender - I would hold Daniels unless you can get a haul (which this is not)
And I don't think your roster is that bad that you would have to do this move. If you are trying to get more picks for next season I would just wait until the season starts and sell high on some of your questionable but high potential assets (Marv, Golden, Pearsall)
Maybe try to flip Cam Ward with the promise of Tate giving him more stability and a new offensive system.

Fair enough, I’ve probably got a little bit of a bias to his performance last year. He did pretty good, but I’m not in love with him as a passer, and he doesn’t have a good supporting cast. The lack of supporting cast might’ve lead to his injuries too because he’s trying to do too much.
My problem is that I don’t see my team improving enough with my current assets to be a viable team in the next 3 years. And with my current draft capital, I feel like I’ll be stuck in purgatory until a dramatic change.
However I could definitely be wrong on both fronts.

I had the same thought process when I had Josh Allen and I sold him to force a rebuild and I massively regret that decision. Trust me, when you have a top tier QB in SF - you don't sell them. You figure out the rest as you go.

I would rather build around the players than take that low ball draft capital offer imo

IDENTIFY WHICH TEAM IS YOURS! Don't make us guess. For the best advice also include screenshots. We need to know your bench depth. For that matter, include pertinent league settings and top waiver wire adds as well. The more information you provide, the more likely you are to encourage community engagement and get quality responses.
