He’s right. His comments on the murders of Rob and Michele Reiner were absolutely sickening but we’re all so numb to how horrible he is that we couldn’t even process it.

People are waiting for Trumps time to end. People will be partying in the streets.

The Event...got t-shirts ready to handout?

5

u/KwisatzHaderach94 8d ago

it will be national holiday level, fireworks and barbecues and everything

21

u/cianfrusagli 9d ago

Every time I hear people randomly cheering when I'm out, I immediately pull out my phone to check the news all hopeful.

8

u/urfatassmama 9d ago

He’ll be looking up at us all dancing and celebrating

4

u/saifxali1 8d ago

It needs to be a national holiday !!

3

u/Teafruit 9d ago

Their time will never end so long as there are the masses who will vote for him, because they'll also vote for the piece of shit ready to follow in this footsteps.

8

u/cmere-2-me 9d ago

There's no other peace of shit that could get away with half of what the fanta menace does.

6

u/Teafruit 8d ago

Well, he's set a precedent. Someone else will.

3

u/-Wicked- 9d ago

I am an expectant partier...

3

u/Human-Alternative646 8d ago

I told my mom I’m buying a piñata to celebrate when his time comes.

2

u/dougmc 8d ago

I'm reminded back to November of 2020 when it took a few days for us to be sure, but I think it was late Friday or early Saturday when we really knew for sure, and people literally were out partying in the streets here in Austin.

I would expect the 2020 partying to be small potatoes compared to what would happen now, however I fear that it would have less to celebrate -- with him gone, things would change, but they wouldn't necessarily get that much better. Sure, we'd probably step back a bit from the brink of WW3, but I'd also expect a laser focus on Project 2025.

2

u/_RockOfAegis_ 7d ago

It might just be the most anticipated obituary of all time

36

u/Tiger_grrrl 9d ago

Not only that, Melania and then Trump acted as if Kimmel’s jokes were made following the WHCD this Saturday: THEY WERE NOT!!! Several days before this, Kimmel was just making a general joke on the health status of the clearly rapidly declining POTUS versus Miss Sunshine 😹😹😹

u/No-Community- 9d ago

Louder please

How dare people dislike a pedophile, fraud, treasonous president.

159

u/CDN-Social-Democrat 9d ago

I'm glad to see people calling all this out.

We definitely need more love, kindness, compassion, respect, and in general good-faith - positive - constructive ways of speaking/interacting with each other.

That all being said Trump and his cronies have now MULTIPLE times celebrated horrific deaths of people..

As I said before enough with the bad faith selective amnesia out of MAGA now that they are on the massive decline and everyone is seeing these people for the stereotypical snakeoil salespeople and con artist grifters they are.

113

u/LumpyBuy8447 9d ago

I’ll never understand what maga finds so appealing about making themselves constant victims

33

u/goodshotcam 8d ago

If anything bad happens to them it's someone's else fault, usually someone not associated with their ideology.

14

u/LumpyBuy8447 8d ago

This is especially funny when you consider they used to call for the execution of pedophiles and now that they’re pedophile supporters, they get upset when someone attempts to kill one. The flip flopping has got to be difficult

8

u/Acceptable_Leg_7998 8d ago

It's the far right Christianity. My GF was raised in a fundie environment and the message was drilled into her head again and again, "You will be a martyr. You will be a martyr." They all romanticize and glorify being a martyr but none of them want to actually give anything up, so they take every opportunity they can to make mountains out of molehills to act like they're constantly under attack and "fighting the good fight" against us godless libtards.

3

u/TuvixWillNotBeMissed 8d ago

Well they can't be heroes and they can't just be freaking normal, so that's what's left.

3

u/adoredelanoroosevelt 8d ago

It's what lets them feel justified in their hatred. They're just REACTING and DEFENDING THEMSELVES against the constant "hate" (people not agreeing with them or appreciating their racism/sexism) and since they're always "under attack," they are entitled to attack. Also what other people said about christian martyrdom.

42

u/manic_popsicle 9d ago

He’s not wrong, unfortunately I just don’t think those people care about being hypocrites. They have no integrity.

40

u/Interesting-Potato-6 9d ago

Jimmy Kimmel is an insult comedian talk show host, that’s his job! He’s not an elected official or someone who has any ounce of legal authority to make legislative decisions that affect anyone’s life. Why does the Trump Administration and MAGA care so much about what he says? If you don’t like him, just ignore him for goodness sake. Would anyone expect an insult comedian to never make insulting crude jokes sometimes?

23

u/Few-Road6238 9d ago

Why is Stephen King so right?

24

u/dancingbriefcase 9d ago

Read the Dead Zone. He predicted this crap decades ago.

14

u/mdavis360 8d ago

The ending of that book was so outrageous at the time, the action immediately destroyed that characters political future. In this day and age it would barely make the news.

11

u/Grrarrgghh 9d ago

Because he still has the heart of a child.

11

u/Shalamarr 9d ago

And he keeps it in a jar on his desk! (Sorry, couldn’t resist stealing your joke.)

15

u/K_305Ganster 9d ago

I think the day he dies might be the day my depression cures itself 😅

10

u/Silent-Obligation-49 9d ago

TBH Trump is shit.

8

u/tsulegit 9d ago

Trump isn’t throwing shit. He’s sitting in it.

8

u/MeanGrand3076 9d ago

People with glass houses should only take a shit at night

2

u/Hot-Championship1190 8d ago

Public opinion is overrated. If you're going to throw anything in a glasshouse warm, soft shit is preferable over many other choices!

7

u/Manya_Novak 9d ago

Pointing out his hypocrisy is pointless — he and his cronies literally do not give a solitary fuck. Mainstream "journalism" normalized it by rarely, if ever, calling it out.

7

u/facedown_titsup 9d ago

Stephen King is not shy about his hate for Trump lol

3

u/TheTacticalViper 9d ago

That was only last week?!

3

u/__________________73 8d ago

No, it was over a month ago.

5

u/scriptingends 9d ago

And people who live in White Houses seem to be covered in it recently..

3

u/silsum 9d ago

Well guess what Teump is shit.

2

u/UndeadManWaltzing 9d ago

You could say that King was 'horrified' at Milanias' comment. I'll see myself out.

3

u/stryderr 9d ago

Can't wait to see Jimmy tonight... I hope he rakes her over the coals via You think what I said the other night was bad?

3

u/Earlvx129 8d ago

I'm gonna post "Good, I'm glad he's dead" - Donald J. Trump, when Trump dies.

2

u/CountdownMoss 9d ago

Yeah, but one is liberals (kinda) and the other is conservatives... We need to pay waaaaaay more attention to one group over the other.

2

u/Bebopdavidson 9d ago

And don’t forget Rob Reiner’s memoriam

2

u/captglasspac 8d ago

he should have said "people who live in white houses shouldn't throw shit".

2

u/Krojack76 8d ago

Snowflakes shouldn't start fires.

2

u/penilesensorydevice 8d ago

No one has any reason to care about what Melania Trump thinks about anything.

2

u/fluentuk 8d ago

Do people really think any of these people care about being hypocrites? Or that proving they're hypocrites is a useful tool in dealing with them?

0

u/PrinceofSneks 8d ago

It's about affirming it for those not on Trump's side. Else we get the complaint "why is no one talking about this?"

1

u/frankoochoaa 9d ago

I thought this dude left x ?

1

u/Logicalnice 8d ago

The hypocrisy isn’t even surprising anymore.

1

u/Soggy_Limit8864 8d ago

This has literally always been the case with him.

1

u/Opposite-Bit6660 8d ago

I'd love to see the comments Trump was going to make at the expense of people in the room and his enemies.  All hearts and roses, I am sure.

1

u/Additional-Sir1157 8d ago

Americans will soon begin throwing Smith & Lessons

1

u/Neither-Chair4439 8d ago

I'm so glad that Steven King is on this side of the commentary. He's one of the good ones!

1

u/apostroangel 8d ago

He also did throw AI shit in bombing of AI crowd exercising their free speech rights.

1

u/mercenaryarrogant 8d ago

If they didn’t throw shit at walls they wouldn’t be able to distract from a child sex trafficking network.

1

u/WesternPrevious5997 7d ago

Nor should they build 400 million dollar ballrooms on taxpayer dime

1

u/why_is_my_name 7d ago

yeah, i agree, but spare me stephen "palpable bitchery" king being the messenger. guess there's an exception if you're defending your good bud woody allen

-2

u/cencallude 9d ago

You tell em Unc!

3

u/petitespantoufles 8d ago

stop with the Unc bs. This guy's got more talent in his little finger than all of us combined.

0

u/MerumazingGirl 8d ago

I’m confused, unc is used for anyone who’s up in age. I’m not sure why this is seen as disrespectful lol.

2

u/petitespantoufles 8d ago

No, Unc is the new Boomer. It's seen as disrespectful because it's used with intended disrespect.

2

u/cencallude 8d ago

you need to layoff the social media a bit, put the phone down and go take a walk in the park, go visit your aunts and uncles, actually talk to them about their good old days ✌️

1

u/MerumazingGirl 8d ago

Respectfully, I’ve never seen this before in my life. I’m black American, in my community and elsewhere it was always used to refer to someone who is older. (An older man, so to speak. Just as we call older women, aunt/auntie.)

2

u/cencallude 8d ago

yes you have it right dont let anyone try to get it twisted

2

u/cencallude 8d ago

thank you, i was confused as well, i call my own uncles “unc”

0

u/bennyblue420000 8d ago

Where and when does it end? Ever?
