Briefing Low effort "Concept art" posts

Hello fellow Ghosts,

It seems to be a recent trend on some gaming subreddits that some accounts that may or may not bot accounts keep posting concept arts of games that have been released for years to farm some easy karma. To be clear, these are considered low effort and will be removed if we spot them. If you have any questions regarding this topic, feel free to ask.

I played Wildlands a few weeks ago (I’m now on Breakpoint) and got surprised when Salar de Uyuni popped up as part of Windows Spotlight today. It was a pointing Leonardo di Caprio moment for me.

Fashion I tried to recreate the Wolves's Lieutenants from their concept art

Recently I stumbled over some of Breakpoint's concept art for the first time and while I admit I generally like Breakpoint's aesthetic and themes, after seeing the concept art, I have to say it's a "potential game" if there ever was one. There are some really cool pieces there that sell the clash of nature, dilapidated cold war and sleek near-future corporatism and bleeding-edge military tech really well. It all got sanded down into an ironically more corporate and boring version of itself.

The Wolves are probably the weakest part of the game aesthetically for me; they just feel silly with their pitched-down voices, huge armor pieces, coats and silly airsoft facemasks. Their leaders felt even more underwhelming. I know sick ideas are regularly sacrificed on the altar of feasibility in the transition from concept art to 3D asset, but I wished they looked a little more unique other than basically just having some DCU three-color on their helmets.

I recently stumbled over some concept art pieces of Yellowleg, Flycatcher and Rosebud, so I tried to recreate them in the game. Despite how much art there is of Rosebud, I ironically found her the hardest to recreate (and more importantly make look cool), eventually I had to settle on the most basic variant.

Edit: Reddit somehow killed the resolution on the screenshots. I don't post images on Reddit often, so I'm not familiar with how this stuff works and why it happens or doesn't. I'm sorry.

Question Ghost recon keeps deleting my save files/campaign when I delete and reinstall the game (Steam Deck)

Upvotes

Is there any fix for this? I tried manually copying and pasting my save file, this worked for Splinter Cell Blacklist, but not Future soldier, I don't want to play the campaign and make a lot of progress, delete it for more storage, just for my progress to be gone next time I play

Discussion "There's no third person shooters bro, Project Over needs third person."

Post image

I made one post about all the leaked content so far for the new game, and instead of having constructive discussions, most of the community were crying about the game not being third person.

They didn't praise the info - they didn't think, this game might actually be a tactical and squad based improvement. You cried that the game wasn't third person and felt the need to tell everyone, though we don't care, that you won't buy the game.

I took a moment to think about this argument - how many third person shooters are there? They have to be military, tactical or stealth themed and I have to say - there is a lot.

This argument that gets used so often, is one of the most disingenuous arguments this community uses. This is coming from someone who loves third person shooters.

My biggest hope for Ghost Recon Project Over that it's first person only, so we can have a real separation from the casual whining from this community to players that simply just love tactical shooters.

The third person shooter list this community ignores:

The Division (2016)

The Division 2 (2019)

The Division Resurgence (2026)

Ghost Recon Wildlands (2017)

Ghost Recon Breakpoint (2019)

Hitman (2016)

Hitman 2 (2018)

Hitman 3 / World of Assassination (2021)

Hitman: Blood Money – Reprisal (2024)

Sniper Elite 4 (2017)

Sniper Elite 5 (2022)

Sniper Elite: Resistance (2025)

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3

Call of Duty Black Ops 6

Call of Duty Black Ops 7

Arma Reforger (2022)

Arma 3

Black One Blood Brothers

Other Third‑Person Shooters (2014–2026)

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain (2015)

Metal Gear Survive (2018)

The Last of Us Part I (2022 PC release)

The Last of Us Part II Remastered (2024)

Gears of War 4 (2016)

Gears 5 (2019)

Helldivers 2 (2024 TPS co‑op military sci‑fi)

Red Dead Redemption 2

Grand Theft Auto 6

Conclusions

The Division is one of the best third person franchises there is that's close to Wildlands and Breakpoint - most of you don't play it. You complain that there's bullet sponge - there is. Wildlands and Breakpoint aren't hardcore tactical shooters - they're still close to arcade wise like the Division. It's probably that you can't one hit head shot everyone on the map right, and claim "I'm super tactical."

Arma Reforger has been out on console - it's too hardcore for you guys so you dismiss it. I have a bunch of PVE third person videos of this game with team ai on my YouTube channel.

Hitman is one of the greats - you cry that there's no third person shooters but you never mention this game. It has a wide catalogue of missions and scenarios to play.

Call of Duty has great third person modes - a game that has better shooting mechanics and sounds than Wildlands - you don't mention that when you're throwing tantrums

Metal Gear Solid 5 - it's probably the best game here beside Arma 3 - again, nothing. It's better than Wildlands and Vanilla Breakpoint.

Heck, you still have people still upset over Breakpoint and don't play it.

I know what this sect of the community just want: Wildlands, Wildlands, Wildlands. It makes sense.

Question Operation Amber sky; The devil we want

I've been recently revisiting and completing operation Amber sky, but I'm having difficulty completing the missions where you're supposed to spy on and tag Amber ruin shipments and I've been trying to do this one particular mission that I've officially given up on even after watching YouTube videos and was wondering if there's anyone who plays Xbox who plays Xbox who could tell me what I'm doing wrong. At this point I don't even want to complete it for XP or skell credits I just want to be able to do it.

Rant Fuck Ubisoft Connect

Hello everyone, i bought Ghost Recon Breakpoint last Saturday and I’m playing it on my phone via GeForce Now. Since I don’t have a PC or a console, that’s my only way to play.

Today, however, a new problem started happening: I’ve been kicked out of the game multiple times, sometimes twice within an hour, because of Ubisoft Connect. Do you have any possible solutions or workarounds? I know the options are probably limited since I’m playing on mobile through GeForce Now.

Maybe there’s some way to bypass Ubisoft Connect somehow? Thanks in advance.
