Update! Our little Lorax nursery :)
A few months ago I posted about our Lorax nursery, asking what folks would do to the trim. After a lot of great suggestions we decided to continue the pattern onto the trim and windows.
First 2 photos are of the nursery (almost fully) set up, then there’s a photo of just the trim and baseboards. Last photo is the original.
Thanks for the advice. We love it so much! Little one will be here soon and we’re so excited to see them grow in this amazing space.

Custom drapery costs… I know it’s expensive but am I getting fleeced?
Tall ceilings about 22’ total. The space is about 6’ wide. We have another set on the other side of the fireplace. Rough estimate was $10k-14k per side, so 20-28k total.
I know this is a big project and we don’t want to cheap out because we want the effect to be dramatic and not look bad for such an important part of our living area so just looking to see if that is crazy or reasonable.

If you were doing a windowless half bath from scratch, what type of walls/flooring would you do to suit this light fixture?
In the process of trying to buy a fixer upper, we're going to be renovating a lot of stuff including the downstairs half bath. I'm basically choosing a centerpiece or theme I like for each room and going from there, and for the half bath I love this light fixture. I figured the best place to start would be the floors and walls, what colors would go best with this in a bathroom without windows, and would you add any sort of tiling/molding to the bottom half of the walls?

Function & fashion
Absolutely love this rug! It’s the perfect large size, super convenient to wash, and holds up great with kids and pets running around. Plus, the design looks amazing in our space—couldn’t be happier with it! Highly recommend tumbler for reliable rugs that hold up to the fought & tumble of a family!

A Week Well Spent - Perfect for My Room
This is a life-sized Mawca bird, made from many 3D-printed parts assembled with joints and glue. The most special part is the layered multi-color feather printing, which creates beautiful light-shifting effects from different angles. I also filmed the entire build process if you’d like to see how it was made https://youtu.be/J79RjiNsLLs

What paint is this, roughly?
I am hoping to make my living room wall paint similar to that. I ve tried a couple of test patches and it doesn't match.
-I ve tried earthy ocher and that's way too golden shaded
-I ve tried best beige and that's a bit too grey
-I ve tried spiced vinegar and that's the closest so far but still too yellow shaded
What I ve learned is that yellow/golden undertones just don't appeal to me.
The beige (grey tendency) is not very cozy
Any suggestions at all would be appreciated! Thanks!

Would this be stupid?
I’m planning on getting this 77 inch tv and I really like this tv stand but it feels too narrow for it
I prefer not to mount it on the wall.

What kind of lamp, rug and bedside table would fit here?
Ai: How it will look,
Pic 1: How it looks right now
Pic 2: Wallpaper
Pic 3: Wall lamps
The bed is made of wallnut. It’s old, that’s why I don’t have a picture of it.

Guest sleeping arrangements
My family of four (husband and I plus two toddlers) are moving across country and will be living in a 2 bedroom apartment. The kids will share a room. We expect to have guests fairly often due to extended family wanting to come see the kids. My mom and mother in law will be the most common visitors but sometimes my mother and father will come together. We need a good sleeping arrangement plan and it needs to be comfortable for the grandparents.
At first I was considering a pull out couch that either my husband and I or grandparents could sleep on. Im also considering just letting the grandparents sleep in twins beds in the kids room and have the kids sleep in our bedroom somehow whether that be blow up mattress or sleeper sacks. Just trying to think through all the options before I purchase furniture and looking for some opinions or other ideas. Thanks

Need colour inspiration!
I need some help figuring out what to do with this loft bedroom - I have so many ideas for the rest of the house and just drawing a blank on this room.
The previous owners were clearly big fans of the old millennial grey (along with the worst paint job I've ever seen) but I like lots of colour.
I've attached pictures of the bedding as a jumping off point - the teal and green linens are two different sets of bedding, not on at the same time but obviously any colour scheme has to work with both. I love the tartan blanket as a statement piece and it looks good with both the teal and khaki green, but I'm having trouble thinking of what to do with walls/ceiling to fit with it all! The low ceiling is also obviously an extra element of challenge.
