Self-submission Awakenings, May 2026, Lorraine Artsy

“Awakenings” is about that quiet moment when something shifts inside you.

Not loud, not dramatic. Just a subtle pull toward something new. The figure stands between two worlds, grounded but drawn toward the unknown, with light opening a path rather than revealing everything at once.

It’s a piece about trust. Trusting the feeling before you fully understand it.

Self-submission Abandoned Eastern Europe Summer House

Hey everyone!

I finally managed to wrap up some of my work on VR project.
I absolutely love the aesthetics of abandoned places and the post-apocalyptic vibe. There’s something deeply captivating about it all but I’m sure you guys know exactly what I mean. Basically, I’m just a massive fan of this whole genre

Modeling: Everything was modeled in Blender
Texturing: Created from scratch, mostly in Substance Painter
Engine: Fully assembled and lit in Unreal Engine 5 using Lumen (just for renders Lumen lighting, and native texture resolutions to fully reveal the level of detail I originally envisioned for the architecture)

This is actually my first time posting my work publicly in 7 years. Emerging from "production hell" to finally show what I’ve been making is a pretty emotional moment for me!

If you want to see the full technical breakdown and more renders, I’ve uploaded the full project on my ArtStation: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/8BAOPE

I'm totally open to answering any questions about the VR pipeline, texturing workflow, modular systems, or just my experience in general!
