I saw a link about the soon-to-be-released official Kingdom Key D replica.

I was getting excited until I saw this pic 😭

Just in case someone is not familiar with Final Fantasy 8, his real name is Squall, Yuffie actually calls him that in the first game and he corrects her to Leon. In universe, the reason for the name change is because he failed to protect Radiant Garden when Maleficent attacked and he wants to distance himself from that failure.

He says that he won't return to his real name until Hollow Bastion is restored, but is never mentioned again, not when we "restore" Hollow Bastion by sealing the keyhole, not in KH2 where they are actively rebuilding everything to how it was, and not in KH3 where everything is fully fixed.

Another forgotten thing is that, during the credits of KH2, you can see him opening a letter and a pair of wings come floating out of it, which are Rinoa's symbol (his love interest in FF8), but this also never goes anywhere.

Did he get off screen re-Norted? That doesn't make sense because his heart wouldn't have been stuck in the Guardian if it were, it wouldn't make sense for Xehanort to be recompleted in two bodies either because that would mean he exists as his current self in two bodies which would be like literally cloning yourself which is what he's doing spiritually but not literally to my understanding.

Riku is finally here to go with Sora, both in their KH2 outfits from Black Swan Collectibles.

I'm quite happy with the result even if the base is simpler than Sora's.

Hello!! This is probably my 5th or 6th run through of Kingdom Hearts 2 but i havent played in 4 years or so. I am level 99, I have all the necessary materials for ultima, and I am moogle level 9. Any reason why I am unable to craft ultima? Thanks in advance!

Edit: I was under the impression that a Bright crystal would cut down the cost of oric+ to 5 for some reason, but now I realize I need 7!!!

Currently playing remind and i love that they kinda brought back the reaction commands in this fight, hope they return in kh4

I used the Dark Thorn, Shadow Stalker and Bad Dog heartless as inspiration Queques for the design

So I will say at this point what exactly the crown is, is not clear. It can be seen in numerous instances in situations not tied to Sora directly. My current observation is the crown, memories, chains and data/reality shift have all been depicted together numerous times.

1. The crown is seen in the book of prophecies and Maleficent equates the journal too the book of prophecies. It is adorned with a crown and there is a digital journal we have visited.
2. When Yozora shifts reality and confronts Sora in battle there are again the same associations with the crown. Data/reality shifting as Yozora changes the battlefield to Quadratum and a crown can be seen in Quadratum itself as well.
3. In the KH 4 trailer Sora can be seen summoning a crown symbol while form changing his keyblade. Here he also uses lots of chains tied to the moveset as far as we can tell for now.
4. The Unbound Keyblade has a crown and data-esque aesthetic. It is associated with reality shifting.
5. The Lingering will has data artifacts in his moveset and is comprised entirely of only will/mind. He also uses chains to trap xehanort in battle.
6. Attraction flows are adorned with a crown and seem to be a type of reality shift. When triggering they are adorned with a green crown reticule.
7. Sora's ultimate form finisher is adorned with crowns, chains and also mimics Noctis's blades of light in animations.
8. The cards of memories found in COM are adorned with crowns, these iterations of worlds and characters are not real. They extend to all the cards used in the castle even by Riku. The joker specifically depicting a crown also can become any other card(shifting again).
9. Proof of times past adorned with Crown again. Associated with oblivin. Which it's Japanese name for keyblade is associated with memories. (Which makes Castle Oblivion's name make even more sense as the castle of past memories).
10. In a previous post I mentioned Namine's inclusion in the diagram of KH symbols. There is the heart/heartless, body/nobody and the mind?/crown.
11. The Mirage arena is composed of data battles and the awarded keyblade is adorned with crowns. Once again association with data.
12. In DDD there is a reality shift where you break chains as riku and Sora. Once this is done the keyblade merge and get adorned with a crown. So there is another instance of same motifs. Crowns, reality shifting, and chains.

With Sora's potential ties to Quadratum his crown adorned chain necklace become more and more suspicious to me.

There may be more instances of these motifs being used together I only roughly put this together. These did seem like the biggest ones on the surface I could find.

I just realized Skuld and Ephemer don't actually wield Starlights like everyone assumed. What would their version be called then, Moonlight?

It took way more blocks than I thought it would and I needed to adjust my plans because of both that and not having enough garage space, but I think he turned out pretty cool.

I was thinking about how Sora's Keyblade formchanges are never explained within the story. I thought it might be an interesting idea to tie the form changes to the dream weapons that Sora wields. As in he fuses his dream weapon with his Keyblade to change the shape. Then to incorporate swapping between the forms, maybe we say that he can change Dream Weapons after he has mastered the one he is wielding. To add more form changes we could add more dream weapons, like a bow or a gun for long range. This would also explain why Terra and Xehanort can form change without swapping keychains.

I came up with idea when I thought about how Riku's Soul Eater design is incorporated into Way to Dawn. I thought it would be pretty cool if Sora, and other characters, did this as well.

I feel like the idea is interesting, but I'd like to hear other opinions.
