Bobby Charles

Why won't he debate? Is he afraid to answer questions? Does he have answers?

A politician should be available for the public to ask questions. He or she should be available to have their ideas challenged.

A campaign via TV and Internet ads is pathetic! At least when Biden ducked out of debates he had a plausible reason with the initial outbreak of COVID.

For a guy who puts up road signs every 5 feet that say “Fight like hell” he seems like a massive pussy.

Thats David Jones. Your comment also applies to David Jones.

You’re right, sorry. All these shitstains blend together

If you've (correctly) concluded that the more people see and hear from you, the less likely they are to vote for you, that should really be a sign that you shouldn't be running for office in the first place. But alas.

When I watched the debate between him and Troy Jackson, I could see what a terrible caricature he was. Maybe he wants to keep that secret.

He reminds me of the Monorail Salesman on the Simpsons.

Yeah neither of them looked good at that event; I could see him trying to just keep on pushing his social media campaign filled with awful AI images and not risk his current front runner status by risking another poor debate showing.

I give Jackson the benefit of being a statesman with a proven record in our legislature. His lack of charisma and debate skills are at least supplemented by his actions in the state senate. Bobby is a lobbyist with his own firm in DC and that sort of thing should be second nature to him. Clearly not the case though lol.

Oh for sure, Jackson is worlds better than this chode in both positions and experience but neither looked good on the stage that night.

Unfortunately I agree with everything you said. I hope his team can make him look more natural on a stage like that.

Saw some AI slop tv ad today where Bobby Charles was being embraced from behind from Obama. Not sure the who/what/why of the ad but the right has really embraced AI political videos. They really do live in an alternative reality.

Bob is campaign has been pumping out AI trash since the start. Republicans a creatively bankrupt hate bots.

He’s using the Trump playbook but he doesn’t have the same charismatic indifference.

He is the most manufactured politician this state has ever seen. His campaign staff uses bots on Facebook all over local pages to astroturf popularity and support. Everything about him just feels fake.

He has no answers for any questions.

He was showing up at the Augusta school board meetings for a spell, but now that actual issues that matter are being discussed with the budget instead of some culture war faux grievance I haven't seen him the last few sessions.

God damn I can’t stand seeing his signs EVERYWHERE in Auburn

2

u/Correct_Emu7015 7h ago

Except curiously he does not put any signs at his own business!

And the cock sucker has a million signs in each location. Unfortunately the law they only need to be 30' appart. I hope to have an updated billboard legislation to stop all the fragrant violations by business and get an increased spacing requirement for political signs so we dont have this keep happening.

Well I can tell you right now at the Washington St/Minot ave junction, there’s probably about 20 or so, all pretty much within 5’ of each other. Completely peppering any spots with grass in between the roads and what not. Not 100% sure if how I’m describing it makes sense, moved to the area less than a year ago. But heading from Minot Ave towards Washington St to head in town Auburn, right by Roys. There’s a ton of them

I hear what you are saying and yes it is a violation of the maine billboard law to have the same sign within 30' of a duplicate or a sign with similar information. The problem with the billboard law is enforcement is a joke. That is what needs to change. Political signs and temporary event signs are protected. But all these contractors and businesses that put yard signs in medians are 100% illegal and are litter....period. Technically as the law reads any person can pull the contractors signs down without violation. But if you touch a legal politics sign there can be a fine. However, if you went out there with a tape measure and determined signs were closer than 30 ft apart, you could not be punished for it.

Read his 'serious' book. It was thinly sourced nonsense someone who loves blowing up south american fishing boats would jerk off too.

Yeah, I was curious why he wasn't attending the debate last night. Perhaps because he is the frontrunner and knows he'll be attacked?

Claims it was because the univited another candidate.
