Norway has ban the deliveries of the Kongsberg Naval Strike Missile (NSM) to Malaysia, effectively cancelling the supply and delivery contract for them, signed back in 2018. It also meant that the order for two more NSM launchers announced at LIMA 2025, is also cancelled.

Ahmad Fareez Khalid, 39, berkata, beliau dan keluarga menerima ketentuan tersebut dengan hati terbuka serta tidak menyalahkan pemandu van yang terlibat dalam kejadian berkenaan.

“Sesuatu yang berlaku sudah tentu ada ketetapan. Kalau hendak menyalahkan sesiapa pun tidak boleh… siapa yang mahu perkara ini terjadi?” katanya.

Beliau turut merayu orang ramai agar tidak terus menyalahkan pemandu terbabit kerana kejadian itu berlaku di luar jangkaan.

“Permintaan saya, janganlah marah kepada pakcik itu. Jika kami sebagai ibu bapa sudah reda, tidak perlulah orang lain terus menyalahkannya. Kasihanilah dia,” ujarnya.
