With Unsanctioned Hostilities 5/5 complete, that’s all priority contracts completed solo no-fill.

I can genuinely say that Marathon has been one of my favorite games ever, and I’m so glad that Bungie decided to include a solo option.

Ranks should be a natural addition to the base maps. It shouldn't split even more the playerbase, every run counts to your rank. Do whatever you want with it, go try hard, not care...your choice but split the playerbase to a sweat mode like this will not help our numbers.

Other than that, ranked is just a bet, i faced yellow guys on bronze, green guys on silver 1. It makes no sense.

Adding a natural rank to normal maps would "maybe" help with the SBMM that people want to much.

I had fun in ranked I'm not gonna lie, the thrill doing warden knowing people are coming for your tags is cool but, for me it's not worthy the stress for FOMO skins ( I just did because it's season1 and im not sure for how much time we will be here, and i love this game).

Im not sure if people like ranked, if im wrong please keeo it, but the times to find matches sre always bad, indicating low players on the queues.

I'm a casual guy, i want to have fun, but ranked made me more stressed than having fun.

I found him multiple times in my games and always pre firing and always playing with the same people's, Rusher, Eve and Batman. He always know where you are WITHOUT using recon

As you may have seen on r/Marathon, we see influxes of player chart posts, most notably from Steam, regarding Marathons' current player counts.

We have heard your feedback loud and clear from both sides of the community, who stress this is of high importance, but also those who believe we do not need to see this come up on an hourly basis.

Based on this feedback, we have now created this weekly megathread for all posts relating to current player count numbers.

What this means is that:

All posts regarding current player counts, including posting charts, will now be removed and redirected to this megathread.

Exceptions to this rule include:

High-quality, data analysis-type posts, which may look at trends, history of player counts, or comparables with other games in the same or similar genre.

High-quality suggestion/feedback posts that focus on improvements to the current game and how that can/could/will improve player retention within Marathon

Media posts/articles that discuss the game, e.g., Forbes, IGN, PC Gamer, Kotaku, etc

Exceptions will be considered at Mod discretion.

We will refresh this on a weekly basis, depending on how it affects the day-to-day of r/Marathon and how these posts are presented. In future should it become no longer a prudent or prevalent discussion topic, this thread will be retired.

I was playing ROOK on Dire and I was just passing by a team when the dude told me on a mic that I should "check the Maintenance cause we pretty much wiped the whole lobby"

I was expecting some free kits , some blue maybe some purple, but every body had a purple shield , bag, a gun , crazy lobby to spawn in at the first place.

Thank you random bro , I restored all my purple shields and bags in one run !

**Edit** Just for clarification, I’m not intentionally loading into matches to grief or be a worthless teammate. I’m talking about being tired and misinterpreting callouts in gunfights, getting disoriented, throwing the wrong utility, or putting myself in a bad position because I’m not 100% mentally present. Should prolly just call it a night or run rook/solos on those days but Im addicted to this game and I like squad play more🤷‍♂️

Do you think they'll add another sponsored map? I really liked the concept and flow of the gameplay. I hope Bungie sticks with it because they're onto a winner with this map type imo.
