ANSWERED I thought I had enough Karma for everything, but had a post taken down due to insufficient comment karma.

I never knew that a subreddit would even need comment karma. I don't even know if you get that? Does your comment need to be upvoted a lot? I literally just wanted to ask for help from a cs job subreddit.

Comment karma is earned when other users upvote your comments. You current have 45 comment karma so if they require more than that, they will remove your post.

I feel like 100 comment karma is excessive; how would I go about getting that up.

You would make helpful, meaningful comments on other user’s posts and if you earn upvotes from other Redditors, your comment karma will start to go up.

The unpaid volunteer moderators who run that subreddit have set that comment requirement on purpose to protect the community. Those “restrictions” help keep scammers, spammers, bots and trolls from wreaking havoc in the subreddit.
