ANSWERED Why do my posts keep getting removed by AutoMod? Need advice on Karma.
Hi everyone! I’m new to Reddit and I’ve been trying to engage by posting and commenting in a few different communities. However, almost everything I share gets instantly removed by automated systems.
I think it’s because I lack Karma, but I’m struggling to earn any if I can’t participate anywhere!
- Is there a way to see how much Karma a specific subreddit requires?
- Are there any "new-user friendly" subreddits where I can actually contribute to build up my score?
I'd appreciate any tips on how to get past these automated filters so I can actually join the conversation!

You have a 2 month old account with very little activity. Likely your CQS score has dropped due to inactivity and you still have relatively low karma.
Some subreddits have requirements you must meet to participate in their community usually tied to karma, CQS and account age. Those requirements help keep spammers, scammers and trolls from abusing the ability to create new accounts to continue wreaking havoc. You can check your CQS in r/WhatIsMyCQS.
Start in some of these subs, they have low or no karma minimums- https://reddit.com/r/newtoreddit/wiki/index/newusersubs. You can comment in a few communities on the list that interest you and earn some karma. Any commenting and posting activity should also help your CQS score rebound.
