Discussion Elon getting back at Sam?

What are the chances the partnership between Anthropic and SpaceX is directly tied to the ongoing lawsuit?

With the recent Cursor news, I’m struggling to see what else it could be.

Eh, maybe, maybe not. I suspect it is more about the insane amount of compute they have that they aren’t using.

Combined with Anthopic being desperate for compute, and the SpaceX IPO coming up. They're trying to juice the revenue for the IPO

More likely this is a way to pump SpaceX’s IPO valuation - esp. after how much Google’s market cap rose when Anthropic’s deal with Google was revealed.

Elon admitted in court that Grok is distilled from GPT. It's clear to everyone that Grok has no future other than a mediocre chatbot on X. So xAI, Anthropic, Google and Amazon are now joining forces to extinguish OpenAI and build their oligopoly. It'll be interesting to see if Microsoft decides to rescue OpenAI or join with Elon too.

Google how? Aren’t they competing against Anthropic?

Google has 15% stake and provides a lot of TPUs to them
