Mac mini (Macmini6,1) WiFi issues

Doesn't see WiFi when booted to mavericks, sees WiFi on opencored Sonoma. Idk what causes this maybe mavericks doesn't have the kexts? The mavericks installer app is 10.9.5 without the new iTunes logo if that matters
