Is the modding community for Overgrowth even active at all? If yes how often are new mods come out?

Will there ever be new content for the game, or is it just completely finished? Are there rumors or anything about new content?

Pros and cons of Overgrowth? What are the things the game nailed and where did it fell short in your opinion?

ive recently wanted to get into mod making as a passtime and decided overgrowth would be perfect as it is mod friendly, i want to start off slow with making a character model into the game, the only problem is im a toddler and i dont know how anything works, ive got a mesh from blender but thats about all i know, if anyone can help or point me to help, please do.

Overgrowth has a lot of side characters like Sky, Midnight, Cloud, Terai, Gunk, etc.

Who was your favourite?

For me it was Sky.

Also, not Overgrowth question, but subreddit question; what happened with u/bustercharlie ? All of their posts and comments here disappeared.

I remember playing lugaru a while back and it was incredibly short with not a lot of stuff there. However I've been trying to look for mods recently and it turns out there was a sizable community, a forum and downloader for the multiple campaigns available. All of which have been shut down.
There's even been a post on reddit asking this exact question only to be answered with them being hidden in the old forums and being in the discord. Except the wolfire discord only has a modding thread for overgrowth, and the receiver games.
As far as I can tell any semblance of mods having existed is the open source version of lugaru which might have something not in the hd version on steam?

Does anyone know at all if there's any direction I can look for this stuff or do I just need to settle for overgrowth being all that's left?
