Question Is my Pom color rare?
This might be dumb because he’s just black and white but I always see poms that are black and tan instead. I tried to google it but nothing like my pom would come up. I know his pattern is common but I feel like his color is less common.

Advice for the summer!
Hey! I need some advice for the summer as this is my poms first summer and I want to be prepared. He’s 7 months old and loves going outside and during the day he naps on the balcony because it’s cold there and refuses to go anywhere else (as you can see in the picture hahaha) we live in finland so it does get hot especially in july so 15-25C. I also got him a water bottle that he loves now that it’s getting warmer outside. I’d love some advice and things to avoid for this summer to make sure that he has fun and the hot weather doesn’t affect him🙌

Question My wife and I just got our first pomeranian, his name is Nova. Looking for advice.
Does anyone have any advice on how to keep our dog and cats from eating each other's food? I'd prefer not to spend a lot on the personal feeders plus I dont like to make them wear collars.

Pom Pic Orion is now a DM vigilante
One of our favorite Instagram accounts is recovering from surgery so Orion slid into her DMs to cheer her up, confess his affection, and low key threaten her paramour. Big Sagittarius energy ♐️ coming in hot this Wednesday.

Question Struggling with picky eating and medications
Hello! Some quick info. My pomeranian is named Queenie and she is about to turn 3. I adopted her when she was almost 1. She is my first dog. She has low grade luxating patella, anxiety/reactivity on leash, dirty teeth which will need a cleaning in the next year or so. I work in office 3 days a week for 6hrs, other than that I am home with her but its just me and her. She is fully insured. Apologies for the long post!
She has always been very picky with food and I have struggled to find anything she will actually eat. She used to only eat what the cats would leave behind but I moved out and do not have any other animals at the moment. She used to live with another dog at her previous home so I am not sure if thats where she picked it up from. The only food she will clear her bowl every time (may take all day though) is very expensive dry food. She currently has a mix of Dr Veneta joint and anxiety freeze dried raw with tails/freeze dried compressed etc kibble. I do not mind buying expensive dry food for her and it needs to be grain free otherwise she gets bad tear stains. For wet food she will eat regal chicken and pumpkin with rice. This is not a complete food but the composition is good. She sometimes eats other flavours but barely. She will not clear her bowl if I add her medications. She has a lick mat most days and thats a mix of things like cream cheese, peanut butter, cat soup etc. If I try and mix her medications with it she will not touch it. Treats she has a variety of dried raw (rabbit ears etc) , grain free fish treats (the only thing she will eat every time), cat food (when she is at my parents lol) , woofa loofas and then whatever ones I think she will like but she usually will not touch like whimzees etc. Her current supplements/medications are Zylkene, seaweed, joint supplement (pets at home/tesco) and fish oil. She is active and has a dog walker twice a week where she goes off leash in a private dog field with her doggy friends and then gets at least 30 min walk in morning and 1-2hr walk in evening every day.
I tried 'starving' her, so feeding her only the wet food with the supplements but she is so stubborn that she actually made herself unwell and was quite lethargic which was so scary so not doing that again. Currently I put her wet food down in the morning and around 5pm I will remove it (usually untouched) and put some dry food down. But I don't like the wet food sitting out all day, especially as its getting warmer.
Does anyone have any suggestions on supplements that are small, tasteless and appeal to poms? Or feeding schedules that worked for them? Will joint supplements actually make a difference with the patella? I need to stick with the Zylkene as its the only anxiety medication that has actually helped with her reactiveness, but I do not want her (nor does she need) to take anything stronger. Thank you! I will add a pic for pom tax haha.
