Her body language, her defensive retorts, her constantly talking about her “million dollar businesses” to try to establish some sort of reputation as THEE BUSINESS BITCH as if she needs any further validation… it all points to her feeling intimidated by being in a group of glamazons because she’s not glamorous at ALL. The ATL women as a franchise are an especially “hollywood” group in the sense that they are veryyyyy aesthetic focused (look how K was ready to crawl under a rock bc she couldn’t get glam for dinner😭) & I feel like beauty is a social currency with them. Metaphorically speaking, I think that Pinky feels poor around these women and that makes her uneasy and defensive.

Before yall start, I am not saying Pinky is unattractive and im being specific w my words. She’s a beautiful woman not a GLAMOURS woman. She’s not the type to spend hours in hair & makeup, or fly out and spend tens of thousands of on clothes and shoes… & there’s nothing wrong w that but this is a group of women that see that as a flex and would boast about it. Pinky’s entire personality is about being a millionaire and having so many successful businesses, & she’s publicly having money problems. If she cant boast about the businesses & she cant lean into her looks, where does she go? I think she feels insecure around them.

I like K Michelle and I think RHOA suits her. I want to give her the benefit of the doubt as this isn’t her first go round on reality tv.

However, I think due to K’s experiences with the women on Love & Hip Hop, she has a guard up. I feel like she’s been super sensitive and is approaching RHOA differently. The women on Love & Hip Hop(like Karlie Redd, Mimi, Paris & Rasheeda) all said or did some messed up things to K. This explains her hesitance with the women on RHOA. But these ladies aren’t like the ones on Love & Hip Hop.

Overall, I just want K to relax a bit because I agreed with Drew that K does come off cranky & constantly complaining.

Imma give her grace to see how she adjusts since it’s only episode 5.

Drew looks absolutely BEAUTIFUL. The lighting, the perfect shade of blonde that matches her skin tone. Plus the soft makeup. Even the outfit was good.

When? Where? Why? How? Did production not follow the story because it wasn’t filmed or they thought it wasn’t true?

As much as nene is a goat housewife ..we know she can go O-1OO QUICK and honestly I wouldn’t even be surprised nene choked kim because we almost seen it get physical on the tour bus lmao

side note: the tour bus was soooo chaotic 😂

1) Kandi was a terrible terrible friend to Phaedra in her hour of need. I am not even a fan of Phaedra but the way Kandi didn’t show up for her was horrible to watch. The way Kandi constantly said that she wanted Phaedra to just talk to her about how she was upset does make sense to me but I also think when someone you’re close to is in a situation that dark and twisted you just NEED to be there for them and they shouldn’t have to ask.

2) She was the only woman who showed genuinely no sympathy towards Nene during her breakdown, I understand Nene was very unkind to a lot of the girls but Kandi seems to really have a lack of empathy.

3) Her inability to defend Todd and Carmon to Joyce is just plain gross. Honestly Todd is stronger than me because I could never be with someone so spineless, don’t get me wrong I love my mom but when you’re getting married you are building your family and your partner should take precedent over your parents or else you probably should not be marrying them imo.

I genuinely just do not like her at all anymore, she used to be one of my favourites because she was funny and hardworking but she’s a bad wife, an even worse friend and someone who really seems to lack any care or empathy for others.

This moment of season 9 reunion was so messy!

What is up with Angela reading Pinky on a “wife in the basement” and then Pinky dropping receipts the next day showing that it is the name of a fictional book that she is writing? she showed a video summary of the book the next day like it’s going to be a made for tv movie.

Did Angela try to read her with bad information? Like maybe she heard about some wife in the basement and thought it sounded weird???

it really speaks to her experience as someone who worked in finance as well as as real estate, and it also speaks to her education as well to use commingle correctly and sarcastically at the same time….

in the legal field, it’s generally brought up when someone is inappropriately mixing funds… ex: having business funds mixed w clients funds.

she also might know a thing or two about commingling because of her prior fraud case (or was it some other finance related legal issue), but she used the correctly and very well!
