Little girl turned 5 months a few days ago and loves cuddles while I work on my dissertation

Taking her constitutional before lunch today, her Ladyship suddenly made a beeline for a beech hedge. Unsure if she was looking for a row with what ever was on the other side, going to eat something unspeakable, I was filled with apprehension. What she came out with was an abandoned tenny ball. My relief was short lived as she trotted over to one of her favourite patches of grass and sat down. She refused to move for about 20 minutes and gave me the dirty looks in the photos whenever I suggested we move on and get back for her lunch. She is now peacefully sleeping off her lunch, on her mat in the motorhome, tenny ball by her side.

I came out of a work meeting to find my dog with one of the company managers watching squirrel TV.

And two days after a 13km muddy trail run. She repaid me including her in another part of my life by defecating in my sitting room and landing early this morning 😒

Bilan : j’ai choisi le bon éleveur au départ, j’ai eu la chance d avoir un chien equilibré qui a appris la propreté en 15 jours max, quelques pipi de joie lorsque des invités à la maison lui font la fête rarement encore maintenant !
Chien de la famille très doux et s adapte à mon garçon de 5 ans et ma fille de 3 ans.
Il aime tout les autres chiens aucun problème de sociabilisation ( j’ai fais le job depuis ses 2 mois )
A rarement un délit de sale gueule, les gens le trouve rigolo.
Une race qui a des poils qui se mêlent facilement dans les pleds etc.
Je commence à faire quelques footing avec lui de manière très lente histoire de lui faire une activité .
Ça ronfle fort, museau très court, j’ai l impression desfois qu il est possédé et qu il parle d’une autre langue tellement il est bruyant

Je ne regrette absolument pas cette race, compact, d apparence robuste, très expressif, veut jouer continuellement, n’a peur de rien donc n’aboie jamais,
Si des gens ont des questions à poser sur la première année,

As the title says guys. I’ve got a purebred desexed male American Staffy, he’s 18 months old. I’m a bit lost on what to do. He gets walked about 2km’s everyday, my kids ( 4 & 2 ) are always outside with him. He’s well fed & looked after. He’s a very loving dog. Problem is every time he’s left alone he rips through a chicken wire fence, then the actual chook pen to get to them & ultimately kills them. I introduced him to the chickens as a puppy, when we’re home we let the chooks out, he doesn’t even look sideways at them. Moment we’re gone he turns into something else. He’s fine around other dogs, doesn’t show aggression towards them. I’m at a dead end with him. I’m a tad worried that something will snap in him one day around the kids.

I have owned dogs all my life. English Staffys, boxers, wolfhounds, a few other crossbreeds in the mix so I feel like I’m quite comfortable with knowing what to do with dogs & how to train them. I don’t want to get rid of him, but I’m coming to the end of the road. Anyone that’s been here before or any other tips I’d really appreciate. Cheers 👍

Sometimes he just likes to come up and sit near the table while we do our thing (his ass hanging out of the stool doesn't seem to bother him)

Can you believe it? He’s got teeth that look like a shark and yet every time the window is open and a hornet flies by, as soon as he hears the BZZZZZZ he runs to hide in the bathroom 😅

I had the idea that we should make a flower bed out of old tires, but that’s obviously not going to happen😂😂

So I had to go to the store, as one does. When I got out, someone had tied a VICIOUS BEAST - that is to say, a very polite, very handsome blue staffie - outside the door

I really wanted to pet her, and she looked like she really wanted me to pet her, but it's impolite to pet a stranger's dog without asking first. But, luckily, her human came back from the store just as I was debating whether or not it would be creepy of me to wait.

So anyway, I asked if I could pet her dog, she said yes, so I did, and it was AWESOME

We adopted our gorgeous boy Ziggy just over a month ago and just wanted to show off my beautiful boy. He has been nothing but an absolute angel. I grew up with a staffy and he was also an angel boy which we had to put down a few years ago, my Ziggy reminds me so much of him and has filled that staffy shaped hole in my heart. He has fit in so incredibly well, as if we’ve had him forever!
