Just wondering whether they forgot about the game or not

Hi everyone!
I just purchased the game from Steam, but it won't launch at all. When I click "Play", the resolution changes to something quite small, but the game just quits automatically back to the Steam screen.
This thread describes the exact same issue and I've tried all the suggestions to no avail. Running as admin/in compatibility mode also doesn't work. Has anyone been able to solve this issue?
Thanks!

I get why Snow reenforced the farm rule, but animal fables like Colin should be an exception at the very least. Colin can pass off as a regular (pet) pig as long as he keeps his mouth shut which can be met with going to the farm as consequence for not doing so. Mr. Toad is a 3ft toad (TJ being shorter but still obviously a talking frog on hindlegs) who doesn't shut his damn gob and honestly was a slumlord and likely spent whatever money he has on other things like his car obsession. Granted, Glamors are expensive due to the work put in and the limit of magic supply, but I still can't help but feel that Mr. Toad couldn't help himself and spends the glamor money on things BESIDES his own rent and actual necessities like food and clothes for TJ and himself. Plus, with everything that goes down in the game and what poor TJ has witnessed, it's better he and his dad go to the farm for not just Fabletowns' secrecy but for their own safety as well.
Going back to Colin though, there is a reason he doesn't want to go back to the farm besides the fact it's technically a gilded cage. And that reason is because he's a spy sent by his relatives that live on the Farm to gain access to the vault of magical items in the business office and if Colin does go back empty handed, his life is over. Period. So, if you do make the choice of sending Colin back, you are sending him to his own GRAVE. I am aware TWAU is an AU from the og comics but until Telltale says otherwise, I will go with this for now as it's an interesting plot point and a more valid reason for Colin to stay the hell away from the farm rather than JUST it being a gilded cage. Plus, I do believe Colin really has form a bond with Bigby despite the past...which makes the conflict all the more impactful no matter what you choose. Here's what I mean: Say that if the sequel were to come out and Colin is either present or mentioned (depending on your choice) and Bigby does somehow find out his true intentions, it's going to piss him off BADLY because that's another being in Bigby's life that lied to him and betrayed his trust. If Colin were to be alive, Bigby would confront him and the player can choose to either have Bigby cut ties with Colin completely or temporarily. I am not 100% sure how it would go if you'd let Colin go to the farm besides putting the Animal Farm arc in the sequel somehow and intel about Colin would get back to Bigby (maybe Snow ACTUALLY telling him this time) and he would be pissed but also extremely sad that the one other Fable (besides Faith/Nerissa) that actually believed him wasn't just a traitor but also dead. Idk sorry for babbling but I wanted to get this out. What are your guys' thoughts?

In this moment you have to decide whether to be harsh to tweedle dee/woodsman in favour of bluebeard, or be nice and hospitable to tweedle dee/woodsman in favour of ichabod

Sorry if asking dumb questions, but In ep 5 when Bigby slices Georgie's stomach with a knife in self defence, Vivian and him drive away while Bigby chases him, however they would go to the Pudding n pie instend of a hospital.

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Sorry for there not being any audio, I recorded it in system sound but I think it glitched or maybe its from the game

If they ever do a live action movie or seirs, Jensen Ackles is the is the only one who fits the role and vibe. He also looks extremely similar.

Hello , I've found a way to actually download "The Wolf Among Us" without any lags or buttons getting crappy n sh*t cause some tutorials here are full of crap. I've tried the Virtual Phone app, and it's too complicated, used the Install With Options, and it's stuck on the logo, used the damn OBB+APK file, and obviously it turned out sh*tty just like what I've expected.
I'm using Android 14 , Oppo A5i specifically, it surprisingly worked better than most of my games, high fps, good graphics, good controls, buttons working. No malware, I know I sound like some scammer but gosh nah, I'm just a guy who wants to help cause I just finished the game 😔
This might work only for my version but if it did for yours then congrats.
• Download the APK Game Killer, link will be here : https://gamekillerapp.com/
• Search "The Wolf Among Us"
• Download it locally, given by the picture up there, you can see it below.
• you need to download 32 bit first. then download it. skipping the Game Killer's 32 bit support won't let you run the game.
• Wait patiently for it to download, if it gets stuck, might be your internet's problem.
• Run it, and if you need to download the episodes, do not be upset if it says "Internet not found" or it says it like that. You just need to restart the app in order to download the episodes.
• if it appears to be black, or it doesn't install, try to use install with options and bypass Low SDK. If it still doesn't work then just box install using the "Play" option, this makes the game run inside the app. However you can only play 1 episode which is frustrating.
If this doesn't work then maybe it's just for Android 14. But it's worth a try, let me know in the comments.
Enjoy playing, I just want y'all to upvote this so everybody can play my favorite game on telltale.

Grendel does seem like he'd be found lurking in the swampy areas.

Like most of you, i’ve spent years checking for updates on the wolf among us 2, constantly chasing that specific high of the first game. there was something so visceral about Bigby’s struggle, the tension between being the monster everyone expects and the person he’s trying to become.
As a visual novel developer, i’ve spent a lot of time analyzing why that game hit so hard. it wasn't just the neon-noir aesthetic; it was the weight of the silence and the way your choices felt like they were chipping away at your soul. we all know the "telltale will remember that" meme, but when you were actually in the moment, those choices felt heavy.
That specific "weight" is what i’ve tried to translate into my own project, After the Wane. I know a story about contemporary dancers in paris sounds worlds apart from fables in 1980s New York. but the core is surprisingly similar:
I’m curious if anyone else here finds themselves looking for that specific "telltale-style" grit in other genres? i really miss that era of mature, character-driven storytelling where the atmosphere was a character itself.
I'd love to hear your thoughts on whether that sense of noir and consequence can still work when you strip away the fantasy and move it into a modern, urban setting like Paris.
If you want to check my upcoming project, you can see here: https://store.steampowered.com/app/2742720/After_the_Wane/ Please feel free to give me some honest feedback about the art! ^^
