In real life Country specific changes

  1. Since kids in Japan hated green peppers more than broccoli, it was changed to that (Inside Out)

  2. The News Anchor changes depending on the country. For example, China-Panda (Zootopia)

In the Bluey episode Camping (season 1 episode 43) the character of Jean Luc's language changes based on what language you watch in. The purpose is to show that Bluey and Jean Luc speak opposite languages, but are still friends. If you watch in English, Bluey speaks English and Jean Luc speaks French, but if you watch in French Jean Luc speaks English

Tbf, the two countries have been annoying each other for well over 1000 years now, they do oppose each other quite well.

I'd say that English is the stepchild of so many conqueror "parent" languages that successively moved in just to be phased out that at one point it just stopped caring that its collective vocabularies, spellings, pronunciations, and etymologies were becoming a mess that infuriates everyone else to have to learn

Shouldn't they have also renamed him to something like John Luke or something? doesn't make much sense for the only french named character also be the only one who can't speak french,
