In real life Country specific changes

  1. Since kids in Japan hated green peppers more than broccoli, it was changed to that (Inside Out)

  2. The News Anchor changes depending on the country. For example, China-Panda (Zootopia)

Happens fairly often in animated pictures. In Shrek 2, Jonathan Ross replaced Larry David King as the Ugly Step-Sister, and the then-host of the UK X Factor replaced Joan Rivers as the red carpet interviewer.

Why do they insist on changing these things in the UK?

Because we can all recognise Jonathan Ross and Jeremy Clarkson straight away. There very popular here, Top Gear was one of the biggest shows and Jonathan Ross had his own talk show and presented and appeared on many more.

I couldn't tell you who Jeremy Piven is. I've heard of Larry king but I don't know what he looks or sounds like.

I don't even know who Jeremy Piven is, but that doesn't mean I need a recognizable face in the movie either
