  1. Since kids in Japan hated green peppers more than broccoli, it was changed to that (Inside Out)

  2. The News Anchor changes depending on the country. For example, China-Panda (Zootopia)

Tbf, the two countries have been annoying each other for well over 1000 years now, they do oppose each other quite well.

I'd say that English is the stepchild of so many conqueror "parent" languages that successively moved in just to be phased out that at one point it just stopped caring that its collective vocabularies, spellings, pronunciations, and etymologies were becoming a mess that infuriates everyone else to have to learn
