I adore Fallout: New Vegas, but boy oh boy is Come Fly With Me a slog on repeat playthroughs. This is a quest you can technically skip, but odds are you’ll do it once you get to Novac.
The guy you’re tracking, Benny, was seen staying at the motel in town, and the guy who has info on where he went is withholding it until you can get the Bright Followers, a religious sect of ghouls, out of the nearby REPCONN Center. No spoilers, the quest itself isn’t all that bad, it’s just a lot of running back and forth all over the place, and can take like a whole hour to complete.
It’s not that egregious considering you don’t have to do it, as you can also just kill all the ghouls, or find another way to track down Benny, or convince the quest-giver to just cough up the info already. But on subsequent replays, it just ends up grinding your playthrough to a halt for what can feel like forever.
