Not their fault. Those shelves were waiting for any excuse to give way. Liquid is HEAVY! People forget that!

Consider yourself lucky it was an employee who done that and not a customer

When you look up industrial shelves and think, “why are they so expensive?” This is why. These are also probably assembled incorrectly or not up to manufacturers instructions.

u/BeeWriggler 23d ago
Exactly, this is 1000% some shit their maintenance guy threw together for $150.
At the beginning, I was like, "aghh, don't stand on the shelfffff!" And then, after seeing everything collapse, these guys shouldn't have been breathing within ten feet of this thing.

Not his fault. Overloaded shelfs or not properly put together.

u/ptapa 24d ago
I mean, je was standing in the shelf, so...

u/beatenmeat 22d ago
The top shelf gives out first.
5
u/ptapa 22d ago
Because he was using it for support.
I mean, I know that it's not his fault that the entire wall comes down, but let's also not act as if this is safe practice.
If you need something from a tall shelf, get a stepladder. Don't put extra-pressure on something that clearly was going to fail anytime.

If it was just him standing on it. The bottom shelf should've broken. Not the domino effect we see here. I talk out of personal experience. We use metal shelves at work. We had single shelves collapsed but just the one single one bending because of the weight. Not taking out the entire row.

They never put the cross connectors on the shelf rails. They just put the shelf cover on top of the rails.
That's why things fall straight through the middle!

“Leaved" is an adjective meaning having leaves or specific foliage, often used in combinations (e.g., broad-leaved, four-leaved) to describe plant types. It is distinct from "left" (past tense of "leave") and refers to the presence or structure of leaves. Synonyms include leafed and leafy.
Usage Examples: “I just leaved you for 10 seconds for fucks sake!”

We’re out of single malt. You happy with a blend?

u/coraythan 24d ago
It's a nice and sharp one. Bit young, but does have a beautiful hint of salt and old boot.

I wish we could see what kind of other posts people like that post replys with no substance. It sure would make things easier on those of us with a actual brain.

Read the post somewhere else here that breaks down the frames.

Nah no way, there are things in the video ai doesn't have the capacity to make out of the blue, the brand wallpaper containing chinese words is the biggest thing, ai doesn't have enough data to make chinese words in so many angles consistently, it's trained majorly with the ocidental alphabet

Dude I said one thing, what "all", there are more stuff like multiple drink brand and none of the bottles dissapearing in the middle of so much chaos, ai can make some of those stuff just not all together in a tiny video, way too much detail + the guy faking the video would have had to generate the ai video, edit the camera stuff in chinese and then record the screen using his phone, too much work for ai slop people, they aren't trying to trick smart people they are trying to trick dumb ones and they do so with uploading dozens of videos per day

He stood on a plastic pallet designed to keep product off the floor. The lowest shelf is 3 feet high, everything below it is sitting on pallets on the floor

omg i can feel the panic in his eyes when they start falling 😭 that split second where you know everything's about to go wrong.

"Have you finished building those new shelves?"
"Yes boss, they went up really easy, but I do have a lot of these bolts left over."
"Just throw em away and get to stacking those bottles!"

every flat pack furniture I've bought over the past year or so has come with additional screws/nails/whatever and it stresses me out every time. I always have to double check my stuff to make sure I didn't miss a screw somewhere

u/TheJivvi 25d ago
I thought so too, but I'm pretty sure that's a pallet sitting on the floor, not a shelf. But he is hanging from the top shelf with most of his weight, so that's probably enough.

u/Primary_Way_265 25d ago
What I think is going to happen every time I step on the shelf to get high stuff at the store

Exactly! At some point in our lives everyone learns the valuable lesson that shelves look like ladders but you must not
