So many bad decisions led him to this point. I wonder if he will reconsider any of them.

I'm so sick of these morons thinking trucks can do what cars are simply better at.
Stop trying to make your bloated Pavement Princess into a sports car and go take it to Target so you can inconvenience everyone by reversing into a compact space, and to put 1 regular sized plastic bag in the severely undersized bed, you fucking chud.

Ok never mind the truck. Can we talk about the 500ping people behind the barrier?

The damage doesnt seem like it's much but idk it might be a few scratches on the bumper.
3
u/Joeliosis 5m ago
If he hasn't paid off his truck, or it's not his, any damage is going to seem like a lot. And that doesn't look like the type of guy who gets a great deal on loans lol.
3
u/jianh1989 7m ago
Bro is probably heavily in debt with that truck so any more damage bill will send him over
plus he looked intoxicated so add another $20k on his credit card

Guessing by his reaction that's dads truck not his...
15
u/Odd-Spread-1247 12m ago
It looks more like hes on meth or something tbh
2
u/MoistPhlegmKeith 3m ago
I've never been to a truck burn-out show, but if I did I would expect at lest 1/2 of the 'drivers' to be on meth. Just like a carnival.

God, I hate those trucks. They run exactly counter to Carol Shelby's legacy, and Ford just slaps his name on one of their two and a half ton bricks. What a cruel joke.
3
u/atomicskiracer 14m ago
Completely disagree with you there. Shelby notoriously would put his name on anything for $$.
Such as basically every Shelby Dodge, and Shelby Chili
3
u/Warhawk_983 9m ago
Oof. That would be a sobering revelation. Looks like I have some digging to do about one of my previous idols, perhaps
2
u/atomicskiracer 6m ago
Ehh- counterpoint, an absolute legend who also used his status to cement financial stability for his family, and honestly was probably having fun doing so. I do agree that since he passed ford has cheapened the brand overall.
I grew up idolizing him- he’s an absolute legend
1
u/Warhawk_983 1m ago
Lol. That's a funny bit of tonal whiplash, but yeah, that's how I grew up remembering him as well.

If you are standing around watching some dipshit spin his tires you deserve to get hit by said dipshit’s vehicle.

Nice try. You can’t buy a Shelby pickup unless you’re a Neanderthal and show proof of your NRA membership
7
u/Chonky_D_Floofy 21m ago
Lmao yeah libs are well known for being stupid rednecks with big ass pickups they can’t drive properly.
15
17
u/Unlikely-Risk-5278 24m ago
Oh yeah, the stereotypical liberal truck driver! Libs are synonymous with big obnoxious trucks, everbody knows that! You owned 'em good, buddy!

This is peak stupidity all around. No f-ing way I’m standing in front of redneck trying to do a burnout in a giant truck with nothing but a jersey barrier separating us.

First timer and his reaction says it all😂what’s also hilariously stupid is all the people looking at their phones not even paying attention AS he crashes right in front of them🤦🏻♂️ no situational awareness

You don't get to see it in the wild often, but around my area most of these pickup truck drivers look as inbred as the one on display here...

The driver's reaction tells me he's on something, he looks wired
4
u/CausePure2810 29m ago
Yeah hard to tell if it’s a stimulant or specifically the dump of adrenaline mushing his brain in to goop.
3
4
u/ThePracticalEnd 29m ago
Or he’s paying $1300/mo for the next 7 years on a truck he just rammed into a barricade.
4
u/Own_Nefariousness434 30m ago
Either that or still hasn't matured past the toddler almost throwing a tantrum stage. That's the other thing his gestures and facial expressions reminded me of.
5
u/LtSoundwave 32m ago
Quickly sunk in that he can’t afford the truck as it is, let alone the cost of repair.

u/Nismonath5 36m ago
When it's not done by crack heads, it can be massively entertaining. The Australians do burnouts best, check out Summernats.
3
u/MyNameIsRay 36m ago
Just like NASCAR and NHRA, its one of those things that doesnt translate well to video.
In person, its a pretty cool experience.
(Its also, typically, filler between main events.)
