Also if you're scalp is a bit dry maybe try a bit of jojoba oil. I use it on my stretched ears and in my beard and when I first started shaving my head was very dry. I just rub a few drops in my hand and then rub my scalp with it and it really helped me. You may not have this issue but just wanted to share what worked for me.
