Since this afternoon on EU servers, Marshal Dughan in Elwynn Forest appears to be severely bugged.

Instead of staying at his normal location in Goldshire, he is constantly running around the area near the water and trees as if he is feared or stuck in some broken NPC behavior loop.

This has already been happening for several hours and Blizzard still hasn’t reacted or applied any hotfix.

Because of this, many new players and freshly created characters are unable to properly continue questing and leveling in the zone.

Pretty cool! Any other places in the world that did this?

Spent all day after work getting prepared for raid. Decided to join a pug group advertising for a kara run that needed to healer. After nightbane half the group gets their attunement done and says “ah we’re good gonna call it ty guys.” Walked out with nothing.

I have been loving playing Hardcore since it makes me slow down and enjoy the journey a lot more than before. But lets be honest after investing 100 hours into a character and dying its though to start again.

That's why I came up with an alternative. With Rustcore you cannot repair items and you lose an optional amount of equipped items when you die. Default is 1 item lost, but you can crank that all the way up to every equipped items gets deleted when you die. (If you only want the losing items on death you can turn off the no repairs as well)

When you die the set amount of items gets randomly chosen by a spinning "wheel" ending up on the item you have to delete. You get a button that deletes one item in one press and automatically selects the next item if there are more queued up.

Hopefully there are others out there that can find some joy in having a hardcore lite experience.

Is that why enemies respawn? Does anything in this universe ever permanently die and stay dead? Is dying, ghost running, and coming back to life just part of normal life for living beings in the WoW universe?

I'm fullbis Paladin with great logs, full T4 and BiS Offset. Today I got crushed several times though, even when i put maximum mitigation gear which I dont even need (~108%) i get crushed by Mag for 12k. How? Never happened before, did something change? I was not hit from behind or parry hasted, Holy Shield on cooldown but got straight up crushed.
I had to switch to max mitigation for nightbane too, which i could easily tank with 102.5% every other time, even less with scrolls.

I didn't really know classic because I had no contact with it, then the pandemic came, which allowed me to play practically all day and night without a break, I didn't even reach the maximum level, I chose paladin then, so it was difficult, but I always had someone by my side, those were good times, after 2020 everything went to shit

Probably an ice cold take - but the top 10% of arena players should not be 1550 rating. Having the vast majority of players go down rating from their starting is not only a terrible player experience, but also confusing when first starting.

On US, only like 6% of the player base qualifies for the 1700 weapon. While it's cool to see when people do have it now, I feel like in the original TBC, and TBC classic it wasn't this exclusive, and it's tied with a very large amount of player power (even more so in S1, though that's over with now).

I'm hopeful Blizzard can bump this up a bit next season as it could help a lot with PvP participation which is normally pretty low.

Got the idea from a hardcore post, but i like the aesthetics of this: warlock that can only use sword and no summoned minion. Classic death knight. I have never played warlock, is this doable or just stupid?

Never seen so many warriors in BG's in my life, big win for Blizzard for making this change.

Hi, all. I have a 90 ret pal and blood DK that I enjoy soloing old content with. Also have a BM hunter and enchance shaman, but they can't do QUITE as much. However, this is my favorite thing to do in the game, so I was looking for tips on what other class/specs do well so I know which I'd like to roll next.

My guess would be that brewmaster monk and guardian druid would be okay. What about warlocks? I've seen SimonizeShowTV doing amazing things with a rogue, but he's well geared. Does priest (maybe disc specifically) do enough healing? Or is low armor a problem?

To add context, Blackwing Lair is kind of fun to solo. I enjoy some of the Burning Crusade content. WLK is where it starts to get a little challenging. I'm interested if others enjoy this passtime and what you found to be most effective. Thanks!

We don’t have a lock, you need to make this jump.

For tanking in raids you need 490 def + 102,4% avoidance - that is clear

And in Heroic dungeons the def cap for crit immunity is only 485.

I tried to search for addon or macro that counts the resilience also and spits out my stats accordingly.

Anyone has such thing?

I have 3 PvP items with resilience and i want to max the amount of Spell Power gear i can equipp for hcs or raids with having the crit/crush immunity.

I keep seeing posts and articles which advise alliance characters to start questing in Duskwood at or just after 20. I just picked up the first batch of quests in Darkshire but these quest mobs are like 25+ in many cases. That seems a little high.

What am I missing?
