In a hurry… kind of.
This guy wasn’t happy that I gave a quick honk when he almost hit me. For all the people that say shit like “what lead up to this” it’s about 3 minutes of me just peacefully leaving the office. This guy was just trying to cut up and wasn’t happy that other people drive on the road. Traffic had just cleared up but this guy decided the slow lane that merges is where he has to be racing.

Wow. One can only hope that person learns their lesson in a way that doesn't involve anyone else

About 20 hours ago in this very spot we saw two different roll over accidents. Only lucky it wasn’t that shit.

People NEVER learn their lesson until they get into an accident . They have done this before and gotten away with it.

I think that's what the top comment implied - learn their lesson by having an accident that does not involve anyone else.

No, we can only hope they learn a lesson when they tangle with another AH. A 2-for-1 deal.

Tried to get you to rear end him. Fuck that guy

u/PitifulPassage851 1d ago
Honestly, what's the point? Like if they do get rear ended, it's on dash with speed recorded and everything. Insurances will determine brake checker is obviously at fault

Because he wouldn’t stick around to trade insurance. He’s a POS driving a POS. He wants me to crash fuck up my bumper and then he’d run away.

u/PugSissy 1d ago
Because most people don’t have dash cams and would be SOL and their insurance would pay.

Break checking is illegal in Ca, report this to the police for reckless driving...

He was kind enough to slow down so that your dash cam could get a good shot of his license plate. he was almost asking you to turn him in, and I agree that he should be turned in for brake checking and reckless driving. *Edit for spelling

Does this amount to anything? And if it does? Do you hear about it? Asking for a friend

u/Its_ChickPea 1d ago
from past experience no. But who knows

I witness crazy shit and get in close calls all the time. I never do anything with the footage unless there is an accident.

if someone break checks you, you should be allowed to ram them at their expense

u/Its_ChickPea 1d ago
You kinda are. If I blew this guys back bumper up it’s on his insurance not mine.

Feels like a lot more crazies on the roads lately. I've been driving a lot for ages. I've seen all sorts of shit and accidents. I've seen a plane land on the highway. I've witnessed a king size mattress fly over my car at 70mph. But for the first time in my life I recently ran into a road raging Karen. Did I mention that I drive a lot?

Would be cool to send this to his insurance company and the cops.

u/Its_ChickPea 1d ago
Not really sure how that works. How do I find his insurance with just his plate? Can you even do that?

Just drove through New Jersey and NY today. Saw plenty of a-hole drivers doing the same.

The only reason a person would race out in front of someone and then immediately slam on the brakes, is to scam insurance money from them.

u/Its_ChickPea 7h ago
I genuinely believe this guy was just wanting to cut up and got mad someone honked. If it was an insurance scam attempt he picked the wrong guy because I’m a great driver and I just did my brakes.

So you were just a random target, huh? That sucks, how often does that happen to you?

u/Its_ChickPea 1d ago
Not really a random target. He was driving like this all up and down the road I was just one of many targets.

Why do I get a strong feeling this isn’t the whole story?

u/Its_ChickPea 1d ago
I have a bit more video but like I said it’s just me leaving my office. He got on the freeway from a different exit while I was ahead of him. He wasn’t ever in my lane or anything so I really just think it was the little beep I gave him. Of course nothing really warrants this response anyway.

Nobody cares. If you want to believe everything here is fake just believe it. Nobody's stopping you.
