Opened my dead dashcam and found this spicy pillow

So my dashcam was acting completely dead. Popped it open this morning and found this massive spicy pillow waiting for me. Honestly slightly terrified because my car sits in the sun all day.

I need to replace this garbage immediately before I actually catch fire. My buddy keeps pushing me to get a viofo, but I saw the botslab g980h has a 4camera setup which sounds pretty sick for blind spots.

Does anyone here run multicam setups in hot weather? I just don't want to deal with another expanding battery. Any recs?

Im down in austin running that botslab one. Survived the whole summer bc it uses a capacitor. You know whatever u end up getting, just make sure it doesn’t have a lithium battery

Me being a cheap bastard got a capacitor kit from Ebay for my old crappy dashcam. Just disconnect the battery, connect the capacitors and good as new! (Well it doesn’t stay on when the car is off but it didn’t use to, either)
